1 SCOPE OF METHOD STATEMENT This method statement relates to the construction of the Beach Club for The Karpaz

Bay Resort in the western end of the existing marina. 3 GENERAL APPROACH TO CONSTRUCTION AND CONSTRUCTION TIME 3.1 General Approach The construction staging of the project will involve activities on the site located in the west corner of the KBR marina. In parallel with the site construction activities, Procurement activities will proceed off-site. The work will culminate with the completion of the Swimming pool in April 2011, followed by completion of construction of Mechanical Room. Project will be completed with the completion of the parking area in the end of May 2011. Construction Establishment activities on the KBR Beach Club Project will include: Site survey of the 26,000 msq of the area intended for the Project Area. Site establishment, including offices, services and amenities. Construction of temporary fences and access gates around the site compounds. Construction of stormwater management. Construction of temporary routes and ramps required for the access to site from the South West entry. Work will include preparation of hardstand areas for crane access and steel preparation and stock area where will be located in the Soutwest side of the site.

Stages of the Construction is as follows: Phase 1 : Structural and Soil works of Beach Club Buildings and Pools Phase 2: Road from Marina to Parking Area via Beach Club and Electrical and mechanical Trenches. Phase 3: Retaining walls and pavements Phase 4: Mechanical, Electrical and Finishing works Phase 5 : Parking lot pavement

3.2 Construction Time The duration of the project depends on the weather conditions because it is coinciding with winter months. It is estimated that stage 1 of the project, comprising Structural works of the Beach Club Buildings and Pools can be completed over a period of 60 to 70 days after award. Stage 2 of the project is the Road works and trenches in parallel with cable and pipe laying, which will be completed in 30 days depending on particularly the weather conditions. Stage 3 of the project, comprising construction of the retaining walls and pavements, can be completed over a period of two months. Stage 4 of the project is electro-mechanic and architectural finishing works like pool decking, Mechanical room installations and switchboards installations. Stage 5 : Parking lot will be 8000 msq asphalt and concrete block pavement . it can be completed within 45 days as the last activity of the project. 4 Resources The following resources will be needed for construction of the KBR Beach Club and Parking area Critical Materials Ipea Decking Pools Ceramics and Channel ceramics Wooden Pergola Natural Stone Aluminum Harmonica doors Sewage Pumps

Vehicles, Equipments Earth moving equipment for site preparation (eg. D7, D8 dozers, graders, excavators) Excavators and spoil removal trucks Scaffolding and formwork. Concrete construction plant (mixers, pumps). Plate compactors, vibratory roller compactors. Crane

5 Potential Construction Impacts The potential construction impacts resulting from construction of the BC include: Runoff. Noise. Dust Emissions.

5.1. Existing Valley Rehabilitation This is out of the scope of the project.

Earth moving equipment for site preparation (eg. D7, D8 dozers, graders, excavators) Excavators and spoil removal trucks. Scaffolding and formwork. Concrete construction plant (mixers, pumps). Plate compactors, vibratory roller compactors. Cranes for erection of falsework, structural steel and precast concrete. Flood lights for night work during track possessions. New Jersey barriers for demarcation of danger and safe zones.

Bridge launching equipment, including high-tensile bars and hydraulic jacks. Hydraulic jacks for the final lowering of the bridge to its permanent bearings. Human Resources Special staff qualified as PO4 (Rail Corporation) will be needed to supervise all

operations near the live railway tracks.
