11TH INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON PUBLIC AND NONPROFIT MARKETING


"ETHICS, SUSTAINABLE CONSUMPTION AND OTHER CURRENT CHALLENGES FOR PUBLIC AND NONPROFIT MARKETING" VILNIUS (LITHUANIA), JUNE 14TH-15TH, 2012 CALL FOR PAPERS AND PRELIMINARY CONGRESS INFORMATION Mykolas Romeris University together with the International Association on Public and Nonprofit Marketing, as the organizers of the 11th International Congress of the International Association on Public and Nonprofit Marketing (IAPNM 2012), to be held in Vilnius, Lithuania, 14th-15th June 2012, invite the submission of papers on any aspect of Public and Nonprofit Marketing to be considered for inclusion in the congress. The Congress has a twofold objective. First, to compile and edit the latest developments in the field of research in public and nonprofit marketing, and secondly, to gather in a discussion forum professionals and academics interested in this area of the marketing discipline. The Congress is organized on 5 tracks: Track A: Ethics and Social Corporate Responsibility in Sustainable Marketing Track B: Challenges for Sustainable Consumption Track C: Challenges for Public Sector Marketing Track D: Challenges for Social and Nonprofit Marketing Track E: Challenges for Current Marketing Practices The Congress focuses on the following topics: 1. Marketing ethics in public and non-for-profit sectors 2. Green consumer: attitudes, interests, satisfaction 3. Contemporary consumers behaviour challenges 4. Marketing techniques oriented towards various segments of green consumer 5. Environmentally-friendly marketing practices 6. Influence on positive public behaviours through marketing 7. Interface between consumers satisfaction and social responsibility in marketing 8. Marketing in eco-tourism 9. Marketing in eco-pharmaceutics and natural healing 10. Entrepreneurial initiatives and insights on social entrepreneurship 11. Policy marketing changes 12. Up-to-date social marketing strategies 13. New fashioned branding in public and non-for-profit sectors 14. Inter-organizational collaboration, win-win solutions and strategic partnerships in marketing 15. Best practices of marketing in public and not-for-profit organizations Please, note that this is by no means an exhaustive list and other topics will also be considered. All those wishing to present a paper at the congress must submit their work in English by e-mail to iapnm2012@gmail.com. Please note that all submissions must be directed to one congress track. English is the official language of the congress.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES Contributions are solicited for the following categories: a) Research papers (up to 15 pages length) b) Master and Doctoral Student research papers (up to 8 pages length) All submissions will be double-blind reviewed by the congress scientific committee with respect to topicality, originality and general quality of the paper. Accepted contributions will be published with ISBN in the conference proceedings. The congress scientific committee may appreciate a submission as an excellent research paper and suggest it for publication in the International Review on Public and Nonprofit Marketing, Responsibility and Sustainability, Societal Studies or alternative high quality scientific journals in the related fields. Research papers (up to 15 pages, including tables, charts, annexes and bibliography) must be original contributions and must not be accepted or submitted elsewhere until the decisions of the IAPNM 2012 scientific committee are announced. At least one author of every accepted paper should register and attend the congress for presentation. Master and doctoral students are invited to attend at the congress either in face or electronically and submit their contributions too (up to 8 pages, including tables, charts, annexes and bibliography). The aim of student research papers is to encourage teachers and motivate students to perform marketing work (e.g. presenting results related to a master thesis, preliminary findings in a doctoral thesis, or case studies). Concerned issues should be in line with the congress topics. Additionally to their inclusion in the conference proceedings, selected contributions by master and doctoral students will be published in Student research papers: research results and case studies on Public and Nonprofit marketing. IMPORTANT DATES Submissions for abstracts open: January 5th, 2012 Deadline for submitting abstracts: February 17th, 2012 Notification of acceptance/rejection: March 19th, 2012 Deadline for final submission of full papers: April 6th, 2012 Registration open: April 17th, 2012 Early bird registration deadline: May 4th, 2012 Final registration deadline: June 4th, 2012 Congress celebration: June 14th-15th, 2012. CONGRESS FEE The congress fee is fixed as follows: Full fee (including one year IAPNM membership and one year hard copies of the International Review on Public and Nonprofit Marketing): - 240 Euro (until May 4th, 2012). - 280 Euro (after May 4th, 2012). Reduced fee (in case of master and doctoral students virtual attendance -not including IAPNM membership-): 40 Euro.
