France is a country that historically has been closely linked to immigration. "The great migration took place mainly in terms of the demographic, political (wars) and economic of France after 1870, 1918 and 1945. As part of the reconstruction process after the Second World War was one of its supports the need for large-scale industrialization, was established in 1946 the French Ofce for Immigration, in charge of recruiting for this purpose workers from other countries.These momentum determined that the intensied ow of immigrants between 1946 and 1975. Regarding the place of origin, although until about 1950 most immigrants were italians, belgians, spanish, russian and protugueses, is in the middle of last century when increasing the number of African immigrants. Only in 1971 France received 98% of Algerian emigration. In the last quarter century are algerians, moroccans and tunisians the main protagonists of immigration in France.

Today, in a spontaneous and different scale, this rehabilitation has been carried out. The building itself is an artistic manifestation of the neighborhood. The compasition of the deck complies a dual fuction. It serves as an input lter to sunlight, creating an optimal space in indirect lighting for a use of Expositions or museum. Structure is composed of a ceramic tube to get warmed by heat or cold and converts them to energy absorption.

This section is from the bathrooms and the vertical access cluster. It shows how the oor, ceiling and wall are made. First of all the oor has three main layers, formed by the ooring, the oating slab and nally the mineral ber layer, which is there in order to prevent thermal bridges. Next, the ceiling is formed by a plasteboard which holds a layer of expanded poliestirene, both of them are supported by the staple which joins them to the slab.

Finally, the wall is composed by a plasteboard, beside of it there is a layer of mineral ber, followed by an inner tube, nally, there is wall composed by half foot bricks. The oor, ceiling and wall design have been optimized to prevent thermal bridges.
