The regulatingvalve i s a spring-loaded open, regulating and shutoff valve. The regulatingvalveconsists o f two a i r diaphragms, two poppet valves, two valvecover assemblies, a diaphragm spacer and a valve body assembly. One poppet valve i s a bleed-on poppet valve and the other i s a bleed-off are The diaphragm poppet valve. Both poppet valves spring-loaded. assembly i s spring- loaded so that the bleed-on poppet valve i s unseated while the bleed-off poppet valve i s seated. The valve body assembly has an i n l e t connection , an out1e t connection, and bored passages.

The spring-1 oaded bleed-onpoppetvalve i s normally held open by t h e a i r diaphragm assembly. The bleed-offpoppetvalve i s spring-loadedclosed.
