General Notes
The cautions listed in this section must be followed as they give important instructions to ensure the product is correctly and safely installed, used and maintained. This equipment must ONLY be used for the application it was designed for. ELMI cannot be held responsible for any damages arising from any improper uses. Since the product has been designed in compliance with current regulations, the installation must be carried out inside systems which are also compliant with current regulations. Before connecting the equipment to the mains power, make sure the line voltage matches the voltage listed in the product technical specifications. Before starting any operation inside or outside the equipment (such as a cleaning, maintenance etc ) disconnect it from the mains power. A suitable isolator must be installed upstream of the equipment in order to disconnect the power supply in the event of a fault. All repairs must be carried out by ELMI S.r.l. Pay attention to the symbols showing a bolt with an arrow inside a triangle: they indicate the presence of dangerous voltages.
For further information on how to use this equipment, refer to the "Technical Features" paragraph. The product should not be installed in potentially explosive environments.
Recommendations
Make sure the product is installed as prescribed. Connect to the system the power line safety devices provided. Do not insert objects, liquids or powders and do not spray anything inside the equipment. Should the internal or external battery need to be replaced, the old battery must be correctly disposed of and not be disposed on with ordinary waste. All packaging (plastic bags, expanded polystyrene etc..) must not be left within reach of children as they could be potentially dangerous.
System Installation
The installation and maintenance operations must be carried out in compliance with current regulations, according to the manufacturer's instructions and by professional and qualified staff. The incorrect installation or bad maintenance can cause injuries to people and animals or damages to things; in this case, the manufacture shall NOT be held responsible. In the event of sale or transfer of the system to another owner, this documentation must also be supplied to allow the new owner and/or installer to read it whenever necessary. This document must be stored by the System Manager, who is responsible for ensuring it is correctly stored.

For about 1 second, the software version installed will be displayed, indicated by 3 figures separated by a dot ( ex. 2.18 - See picture).
DS1 will show the system operating status according to the codes listed in the Table on page 14/39 DS2 and DS3, on the other hand, show the car position by using the following convention signs: - The lowest floor is always equal to 0 - The other floors are numbered from 1 to the highest floor regardless of whether there is a basement in the building and of the information displayed in the car and on the floors
Note : - If 2 dashes are displayed, it means that the cab must perform a power factor correction travel.
The yellow LEDs are used to check the operation of the Car board inputs/outputs ( 1C). These inputs are shown in a sequence of 8 inputs at a time and the sequence displayed is shown by the combination of the dots on the bottom RH corner of each display ( DS1, DS2 e DS3 ).
