Based on the findings, I would say that Akio Toyoda leadership style is more towards transformational and creative leadership. Transformational leadership is about implementing new ideas to the organization; provide new way in handling problems and transforming or changing organization if required. For creative leadership Toyota president, Fujio Cho knew that he needs someone to come out with global outlook. Thus, Akio Toyoda is the perfect person in implementing new ideas to overcome the problem facing by managers and organization of Toyota Motor Corporation. Based on his knowledge and experience working with General Motor and Toyota, he has come out with a plan to merge with an aggressive local firm. He also managed to get the deal by convincing the top management. Akio Toyoda knows that he has to come out with a creative idea and merging is one of his plans. This was plan by Akio Toyoda to get a faster result to overcome the quality problem.

Akio Toyoda uses transformational leadership to create valuable and positive changes in the Toyota management. He plans is to revamp the management structure. He focuses on time consuming. With the new structure, decision can be made faster during any emergency situation. His creativity leadership outshine when he plan to isolate the managers and complicated coordination without interference of department heads. The department heads will be able to work more closely with each other and report to an executive who can make decision for them.
