About BTRC
Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) is an independent Commission established under the Bangladesh Telecommunication Act, 2001 (Act no. 18 of 2001) published by Parliament in the Bangladesh Gazette, Extraordinary issue of 16 April, 2001. The BTRC started functioning from the 31st January 2002.

The channel pairs, 0657/1617, 0658/1618, 0737/1697, 0738/1698, 0817/1777, 0818/1778, 0897/1857 & 0898/1858 (Total 8 pairs) may be combined with the appropriate adjacent secondary trunking channel pairs and used in trunked mode on a secondary basis to conventional Interoperability operations.
