XK01-AMDL controls primary Original Equipment (OE) door lock and factory alarm functions on select Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, GMC, Hummer, Isuzu, Jeep, Oldsmobile, Pontiac & Saab vehicles. It also provides data override on all GM Passlock II and Passkey3 type (J1850) immobilizer systems.

* In some vehicles, XK01-AMDL may only bypass the Passlock II via data. Once programmed, test the door lock inputs to determine if the XK01-AMDL will activate these functions via DATA. If there is no activation, then the door lock system will need to be controlled analog via the remote starter.
** In these vehicles, rear doors are not detected on the data bus, use the rear doors pins instead.

Insert the key into the ignition barrel and turn it to the ON position. The LED will turn OFF*, and then it will begin a flashing pattern that corresponds to the vehicle type selection. (The default vehicle type selection is 1.)
*If the module has already been programmed to the vehicle, the LED will flash 4 times, in which case, skip to step 4. To change the vehicle type, press and release the Programming button until the LED flash pattern corresponds to the selected vehicle type. The LED flash pattern will match the selected vehicle type. For example: - 1 flash = Type 1 - 2 flashes = Type 2 To save the vehicle type selection, press and hold the Programming button until the LED flashes rapidly*. * For GM vehicles (types 1 to 4), the LED will not flash; it will stay ON solid. You will need to use the key and start the vehicle to turn the LED OFF and complete the programming sequence.

Troubleshooting
Make sure the D2D harness is connected or the 12V is present between the red and black wires. Normal operation.
During Power Up
