Registration for VIII Sem. B.Tech, 10th Sem. B. Arch; All Semesters of M.Tech., MCA, M.Sc. Tech. and all Semesters of Ph.D. Programmes Part-time PG and Ph.D. Students can register on any working day on or before 26 th December, 2011 Registration for 4th and 6th Semester B.Tech. and 4th ,6th and 8th Semester B. Arch programmes Second Semester B.Tech./B.Arch. students may keep the Registration form signed by FA, No Dues Certificates from Hostel and Library, ready with them for the registration and the team of Academic Section Officials will be visiting the Classes for registration process on 28/29th December, 2011 Wednesday 28th December, 2011 Monday 2nd January, 2012 Fees First instructional Day for all Semesters Late Registration with a fine of Rs.1000/- (for those who do not register on above dates) As per the table given below
All students are advised to make the remittance strictly as per the table given below. Refund of excess amount if paid inadvertently is a lengthy process, which can only be considered for adjustment of the same in the next semesters based on specific approval. Those who have paid extra fees in the last semester can apply for adjustment on or before 30/11/11

The registration and commencement of the Winter Semester 2011-12 is as follows: Monday 26th December, 2011 Tuesday 27th December, 2011

Mode of payment Through SBI ATM or E-Challan of HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Punjab National Bank Registration of those who do not complete the registration formalities even on 2nd January, 2012, will stand administratively
cancelled. Thereafter he/she will be allowed to re-register only with the approval of senate. The students should personally present for the registration. He/ She should submit the semester registration form signed by F A along with the fee paid receipt (ATM transaction slip along with one photocopy/E Challan copy - Original), No Dues Certificate from Hostel Office, Library and ID card at the time of the registration To avoid the rush on the registration day, the students are advised to pay the fee for the Winter semester(2011-12) before they proceed on vacation or any time during the vacation strictly through SBI ATM or through E Challan of HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Punjab National Bank without waiting for the registration date and enter the details in the Student Login of the Institute site on the same day. E-Challan facility for the fee payment of the Institute is available in all Branches of HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Punjab National Bank.

All students availing Educational Loans are advised to approach the Bank well in advance so as to release their fee for the Winter Semester 2011-12 before the due dates mentioned above. Please note that as per RBI instructions Bank Loan amount can only be adjusted against their fees and Institute is not authorized to refund any amount. For those who are availing the Education Loan this notice will constitute as Demand for Fees for the Winter Semester 2011-12 and the Demand Draft for towards the fee should be in favour of Director, NIT Calicut and towards Hostel Fees, if any, should be in favour of Chief Warden, NITC Hostels
