Message from the President


Dear Members,
Happy New Year! I am looking forward to greeting new and existing members at our Annual Membership Appreciation Dinner on January 17, 2012. Richard Branson wrote that success cannot be measured in wealth, fame or power, but by whether you have made a positive difference for others. NYCPA is dedicated to your success, to your advancement and growth. Thank you to all who joined and renewed their membership in the Association within the 2011 calendar year. We also welcome new Advisory Panel Member, Vera Sullivan, M.A., Founder and President of Diversityforce LLC, a vetted Career Counselor. Ms. Sullivan will be our guest-speaker at the dinner. Q & A Corner
Q: Can a non-member attend your events? A: Yes, all events are open to non-members. However, non-members are asked to pay higher fees. If a non-member joins NYCPA during the week following the event, excess fees may be applied to the membership fees. Q: I am a student member. Can I volunteer for a committee? A: Yes. A student and associate member can volunteer for a committee and be appointed as a chair or a coordinator.
