equipment and manpower to complete projects safely and
on time. With more than 1,600 employees and more than
1,500 pieces of equipment, the company says, each year, it
moves more than 8 million cubic yards of earth and rock,
produces more than 2 million tons of asphalt and one
million tons of aggregate each year. It also paves 150,000

IVP is a large project concrete paver with capabilities in
pavement profiling. Freesen’s capabilities include major
bridge and structure work and extensive earthmoving
capacity. R.A Cullinan has underground capabilities and
aggregate operations. “This combination allows the blend-
ing of expertise along almost every avenue of heavy and
highway construction,” UCM says.
UCM operates in Illinois and Missouri but has complet-
ed large projects in Arkansas, Tennessee, Indiana, Kansas,
Oklahoma, Texas and Kentucky. The company says it has
major capabilities in asphalt production and paving, con-
crete production and paving, earthmoving, excavation,
pavement profiling and grinding, aggregates, bridges and
structures, and underground work.
