COUNT 1: At the November term of Criminal Court, 2011, the duly elected District Attorney General for the Thirtieth Judicial District of Tennessee, AMY P. WEIRICH acting under the authority of Section 40-3-103 of the Tennessee Code Annotated charges: That NORMAN BENJAMiN, in Shelby County. Ienriessee, did, between July 1. 2011 and August 3 1, 2011 and prior to this Criminal Information, commit the offense of Solicitation to Commit a Felony, in that the said NORMAN BENJAMIN did unlawfully, by means of oral communication, intentionally request Wesley Wilson to commit the criminal offense of First Degree Murder upon Douglas Howell, with intent that the said criminal offense requested be committed, in violation of T.C.A. 39-12-102. against the peace and dignity of the State of Tennessee.

WEIRICH acting under the authority of Section 40-3-103 of the Tennessee Code Annotated charges: That NORMAN BENJAMIN. in Shelby County, Tennessee. did, between May 1. 2011 and September 3, 2011 and prior to this Criminal Information, commit the offense of Deliver Controlled Substance To A Minor. in that the said NORMAN BEN.JAIvIIN did unlawfully and knowingly deliver a controlled substance, to wit: Aiprazolam, as classified in T.C.A. 39-1 7-4 12, to Kimberly Beasley. a person less than eighteen (18) years of age, in violation of T.C.A. 39-1741 7, against the peace and dignity of the State of Tennessee.

WEIRICH acting under the authority of Section 40-3-103 of the Tennessee Code Annotated charges: That NORMAN BENJAMIN, in Shelby County, Tennessee, did, between August 30, 2011 and September 2, 2011 and prior to this Criminal Information. commit the offense of Reckless Endangerment, in that the said NORMAN BENJAMIN did unlawfully and recklessly, by use of a deadly weapon, engage in conduct which placed Douglas Howell, Kimberly Beasley, Ronald Berry and Regina Walker in imminent danger of death or serious bodily injury, in violation of T.C.A. 39-13-103. against the peace and dignity of the State of Tennessee.

WEIRICH acting under the authority of Section 40-3-103 of the Tennessee Code Annotated charges: That NORMAN BENJAMIN, in Shelby County, Tennessee, did, between Augus t 8, 2011 and August 3 1, 2011 and prior to this Criminal Information, commit the offense of Providing Handgun To Juvenile, in that the said NORMAN BENJAMIN did unlawf ully and knowingly provide a handgun to Kimberly Beasley. the said NORMAN BENJAMIN knowing or having reason to believe the said Kimberly Beasley was a juvenile. in violation of T.C.A . 39-17-1320, against the peace and dignity of the State of Tennessee.
