ANNOUNCEMENTS Sunday Prayer Meeting On Sunday, January 29th, the Cedar elders would like to invite you to pray with them for a one hour prayer meeting from 4-5 PM. Sensing many spiritual, physical, relational and emotional needs within our congregation, the elders will each lead a small prayer circle in the Art Room. Please come ready to pray for one another, and prepare to share any needs you may have for yourself, your family or friends. Jesus said, Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven (Matt 18:19). OPC Missions Conference Help Needed - The OPC Missions Conference at Harvest OPC is coming---more quickly than usual on February 4! We are in need of pairs of helpers for each of the 3 sections of nursery time on Saturday morning. We also need classroom staffing as well. Classes are for children beginning at age 4 thru 6th grade: 4 and 5 years, 1st and 2nd grade, 3rd and 4th grade, 5th and 6th grade. All craft materials and other resources will be provided for staff early enough to work out the crafts themselves. It is best if classes can be small so many offers for help would be appreciated. ALSO - Dominoes is a national pass time in Haiti. So an additional need for this conference is for domino games for all the classrooms and "tutors" who could help with teaching the game during a short segment of time as part of the children's activity time. If you are able to help or if you have questions, please contact Marge Blair at 245-2315 or tonymblair@gmail.com. Volunteer Budget Mentors are needed to walk alongside budgeting clients and work with them to help them get their budget back on track while they are involved in the LOVING HELP Program. This position is very fulfilling as you watch clients make progress weekly with their budget as you encourage them. Women Budget Mentors who enjoy working with numbers are especially needed to be matched with single women clients, but both men and women are encouraged to attend the training. Please call Lisa to register for this training at 616.662.3300, ext 102 or e-mail lisap@loveinthenameofChrist.org.
