Frequent absences will not be tolerated and will affect students grades. A student will be considered tardy if they are not sitting in their assigned seat ready to go when the bell rings. Bellwork activities will begin each class period; therefore students are expected to be seated and ready to go when the bell rings.
rd ON THE 3 TARDY, and each additional tardy, you will be required to serve detention with me in the classroom.

Classroom Detention Options 1. 15 Minutes of working in the classroom after school 2. 30 Minutes of sitting silently in the classroom after school. Multiple violations, or missed detentions will result in the student being issued a disciplinary referral and they will be sent to the office for administrative action (please review the NO-GO policy) Students will also be issued bathroom passes to use for the semester. If unused, bathroom passes can be turned in for 15 points extra credit at the end of the final semester.

Make Up Policy A student may make up any missed assignment or assessment if they were absent. It is the students responsibility to complete the make up work that will be listed on the calendar in the classroom. You have as many days as you were absent to make up the work. If a video is missed, students will write a one page report on the topic of the video in place of the missed video assignment. (See calendar for description of the assignment) Homework assignments turned in late will be worth credit and accepted up to a week after assigned. Any late work handed in after one week will not be given credit.

Make up tests, quizzes, essays, and oral presentations need to be arranged to be made up within one week of the absence. It is the students responsibility to arrange the date with me. After one week, you will no longer be able to make up the missed work.
