Each has completed the CBI Export Coaching Programme to prepare them for the European marketplace. And all are ready to forge lasting relationships with European partners. Coming from Afghanistan and India, the Philippines and Sri Lanka, Morocco and South Africa, these companies have infused their traditional crafts with contemporary innovation. At Maison & Objet 2012 rangotri will launch its new Palampor Collection, based on the hand-painted, mordantdyed palampors created in India in the 18th and 19th centuries for the European market. This collection features heirlooms for the 21st century: palampor cushions, hand blocked by rangotris highly skilled printers.

This year Boumi augments its peacebird collection with embroidered cushions inspired by Afghan calligraphy.
