SOCIAL STUDIES WITH MS. TEXTOR 92.ktextor@heritageacademies.com I hope that everyone had a restful break and are ready to jump into the 2012 year! In Social Studies your students are getting ready to wrap up their Greece Unit for the year. They have begun skimming through Chapter 5 and as they skim are writing down questions they may have and why the author put certain information in the book. Next week your students will be reading Chapter 5 Section 1 in their Journey Across Time book while completing in class assignments and activities. DON'T FORGET! The 6th grade is still taking their weekly U.S. map test until EVERY students knows all 50 states in the correct location. If we are learning where places are in the world, we should know our own country too. Get ready for a great rest of the year
