TOPIC DESCRIPTION:

This topic deals with the operation called transurethral-resection of the prostate (TURP).It includes definition of term, anatomy and physiology of the affected part, indication, short pathophysiology of the BPH (specific indication of TURP), contraindication, possible complications and nursing responsibilities during preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative of the operation. This is presented through socialized discussion and participation of the listeners by answering asked questions.
