Some training sessions will present various styles of meditation, as well as

celebrating sacred poetry from all the great religious traditions. Within this
Yoga Teacher Training there is an invitation for you to reflect on all the
great traditions and embrace the unity that can be found through the
weaving and intertwining of the uniting messages. There will be an
opportunity for exploring your spiritual life and open up to a broader
understanding of how various spiritual paths support each other.

(IV) Practicum

All students will have ample opportunity to observe us teaching, as well as each
other during student teaching exercises. We will create smaller groups for the
students to teach each other and get feedback from each other concerning their
teaching techniques. Some student teaching and a whole lot of discussion about how
to see through the eyes of an observant Yoga teacher will be focused on throughout
this training.

Exercises about the use of touch and giving corrections in Yoga classes will be
addressed. We will also discuss licensing, insurance, injury in Yoga class,
professionalism with all students and colleagues and how to keep the Yoga
space safe when teaching.

Student Handouts

There will be material distributed out to help in your study of Yoga. There
will be certain "homework" assignments asked of you. Some writing
assignments are meant to stimulate thinking and deeper understanding
and personal insight. We encourage reading, journaling, studying different
Yoga types outside of the training and allowing new knowledge and
experience to enrich your EAYTT.

(V) Student Assessment Process

Students will receive their certificate if they have fulfilled 500 hours
requirements of training. You can submit a video that demonstrates that
you can teach Yoga. We aim to graduate every person who completes the
500 hour training with us. You will receive hours of home study credit with
a log sheet or journal to document Home Yoga Practice. We wish to make
sure that you will be able to safely conduct a Yoga class and also
demonstrate that you have a thorough enough knowledge of Yoga to
practice on an on-going basis at home or as Yoga teacher. Feedback on
teaching technique will be given to the participants throughout EAYTT.
