Maintenance Supervisor

 Provide and direct workers on technical, mechanical support within the


operation including the hand-over for both light and heavy duty vehicles
and equipment like as follows:
• Nissan Civilian 30 seater, Tata Bus 30-60 seater, Suzuki vehicle,
Mercedes Benz Trailer, Mitsubishi Canter 3ton, Mitsubishi d/c pick-up
and Nissan d/c pick-up 1ton.
• Air Compressor 185-825cfm (Atlas Copco, ELGI, Ingersoll Rand,
Sullair and Airman Portable), Power Generator 2.5-250 KVA (Perkins,
Olympian, Genstar, Caterpillar and Kipor), Forklift 5-7ton, Bobcat skid
steer wheel loader, Dumper, Diesel Engine Welding Machine and other
equipment.
 Schedule and in charge in distribution of job card for maintenance routine
service and repair of breakdown in accordance to priorities and preventive
maintenance schedules.
 Maintain and prepare the equipment upon return from sites to be readily
available when needed.
 Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in setting up,
installing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and equipment, direct
workers engaged in dismantling, assembling and installing industrial
machinery.
 Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in vehicles and equipments
based on observation of machinery and apply knowledge from past
experience.
 Observe and re-check the work of the technicians and mechanics to
ensure conformance to standard as recommended by manufacturers.
 To teach and orient the workers to safety procedures including hazards
and precautions, using the right tools for the job.
 Arrange the repairs of electrical tools and lifting tackles (chain blocks,
hoist, etc.) and maintain the same in working condition.
 Requisition and keep supply of spare parts.
 Work in Qatar Chemical Co., Supervising the workers as per Contract
based on project (Preventive Maintenance Services for lifting equipment
and overhead cranes).
 Preparations of Price Comparison based from quotation from suppliers to
select the cheapest price in order to minimize cost.
 Inspect of vehicles and equipment prior to purchase and test the same to
ensure capability to the work.
 Direct technician of the maintenance and repair (Ref, gas range/stove,
washing machine, A/C) available to company’s camp, accommodations
and ensure repairs are done at the minimal cost.
