In addition I provide how t o conduct Quality Assurance and Performance Reports for abstracts to medical res idents. I also teach research study design and biostatistical summaries to medic al students, residents, fellows and faculty, while providing support in these ar eas. I have considerable experience as a teacher of biostatistics in the SLU gra duate program, for the School of Nursing. Additionally I have been a guest lectu rer in the universityas School of Allied Health, and in industry settings (e.g., in Japan where I was a guest lecturer for Sysmex Corp.). I also created and pre sented a seminar series for validation of new laboratory devices. I have worked with various statistical software packages (e.g., SPSS and SAS) and developed a nd managed a large database. I have done extensive clinical trial work as well ( see attached list). Finally, I am involved in community outreach, having develop ed and implemented an anti-cancer campaign and program for high school students (many of whom were active participants).
