Senior Program Manager Developed an approach and strategy to Integrate two merged Global companies from an IT standpoint. Lyondell and Basell merged in December 07' thus creating two distinct IT environments; one was in sourced, the other was outsourced. All aspe cts of IT were reviewed and analyzed to determine the best approach to bring the se two environments together in an efficient (long term cost savings) and effect ive (minimal disruption to operations) manner Result: Over the past 2+ years, th e Integration of six distinct areas took place. Administered and Managed the IT Integration of the company's Asia Pacific (APAC) region. 15 sites in 11 countries needed to be integrated into a new single infr astructure and support environment. Challenges that were prevalent included logi stics, cultural, resources and operations. These challenges needed to be overcom e in a very aggressive time frame in order to achieve the cost savings required. Result: Within a seven month period, all Sites within region were successfully integrated, Oversaw and Led the IT Integration of a large domestic Manufacturing site. The c ompany's largest Mfg site (refinery) had been overdue for necessary IT upgrades and refreshes, which were contributing to increasing operational costs. Addition ally, many of the sites IT operations were non-standard and becoming close to be ing unsupportable. Result: Within a 10 month period of time, integrated the enti re site to a new infrastructure capable of meeting current standards and on-goin

Getronics Corp - Houston, TX 1995 - 2007 Getronics is a leading Global ICT Services provider with operations in over 90 c ounties and revenue of over 2 billion (EU) Senior Transition and Consulting Manager Supervised and executed the Global transitions of Manufacturing and Services Com panies to an outsourced managed services structure. Developed an approach and st rategy to migrate four Global client regions into a support structure that will enable a more viable delivery of service desk, field and network services. This includes the hiring of staff, establishing ITIL processes and procedures, coordi nating the activities of project resources while maintaining budgetary disciplin e. Result: At the conclusion of the transition, an operationally fragmented and costly support structure was replaced by an efficient (cost reliability and savi ngs) and effective (operationally sound and consistent across regions). Developed a compre hensive project plan and strategy to migrate regional sites into one unified str ucture that enabled the client to more efficiently manage their core business. Having established ourselves in a ni che' marketplace with existing clients, we found that we could increase revenue by adding new managed services where there was a service void. Through the estab lishment of partnerships, subject education, and the development of processes/pr ocedures, we were able to pilot our offering with existing clients. Result: Sale s and marketing teams have a new offering to bring to the marketplace which yiel ded positive client feedback and increased revenues.
