The SCS is also positioned to allow the rapid creation and delivery of network-based value added services. The SCS is a java based client server syste m which monitors, updates and maintains the state of network elements on a live network. It is a multi-tier, multi-server system and is deployed on Sun Solaris, Linux and Windows environment. Customers who deploy the software need a web bas ed tool to report defects, request enhancements in future releases, schedule upg rades, request support, retrieve queries, check status/updates and other activit ies.
