SUBJECT 2 1.Being a famous person has its advantages.

When you are famous many doors open for you,doors which are always closed when you are nameless. Fame brings you a position in the society through which you meet lots of important and influent people who can help you when you need something.You are in the spot lights everytime,you have a lots of fans who love you and appreciate your work.In the end having this status brings you spiritual and material gaines,you dont have to worry for your future like normal people do.Besides that you feel completed when someone from the street comes to you and takes your hand and congratulates you for what you are and for what you do. 2.Being a famous person has also disadvantages. Being in the public eye is strange because for the most part, people are allowed to live their lives and make their mistakes but a public personality has to make those mistakes in front of everybody. You do a stupid thing you have to do it in front of millions of people.The people expect from you to be perfect,to be a model,a person who never mistakes.When you are famous you have no privacy,you are always hunted by the paparazis who are following you at every turning you do.Its hard to be famous.Many celebrities reached to therapy because they couldnt cope with all this fame.Many of them have fell in the trap of drogs and alcohol.It doesnt matter that the world pays tribute to you,or loves you or loves what you do,sometimes you just wish to be just a normal person who can do mistakes without being judged so harshly.Another aspect is that when you are famous you assume a risk.In the eyes of thiefs and criminals you are seen as a target.It will always be someone who wants to hurt you no matter how loved you are by the others.There are a lot of cases who sustain this,celebrities who were killed with cold blood without a reason. 3.Like every person I care about the way I look.Nowadays its important to keep fit,to be always at your best.I usually do sport:football(my favourite) and basketball(from time to time).Im not the kind of person who stays put,I have to do always something,to have an activity it doesnt matter what it is if involves movement.I went to the gym for a while but I gave up because I hadnt so much time available.

4.In my free time I usually go out with my friends.Being in the last year of highschool my free time is limited because most of the time I have to study to prepare for the exam.So the weekend is reserved to my friends.We usually play football together or just go to disco in the evening.Besides that,during my free time I have to admit that Im staying at my computer playing some games or just using the internet. 5.A life experience that has taught me a lesson is what happened to my grandpa.Its hard for me to speak about it because its painful but thanks to him I learned many things.My grandpa is blind.He lost his eyesight a long time ago.There is nothing more painful than living in the dark,in a world that suddenly has no colours,no life.We usually dontappreciate what we have,we are always complaining about things that are insignificant and we dont see how lucky we are for being healthy.How my grandpa says we have to:Live every moment as if its the last,we have to enjoy everything what surrounds us and to be thankful that we can see an feel that. 6.Nowadays,television has a very important part in our lives.Television has on us a bad influence or a good one. Concerning myself,television has no impact on me.Im just a viewer who stands and analyses and choses only whats good.The problem is that the television,nowadays promotes the non-values and the ones who are affected by this are the children who cant make the difference between whats bad and wrong.We are living in a world where on TV the culture is a rarity.Shows like Cheaters(from Prima Tv),Change of mothers or other shows of this kind are promoting the idiocy(stupidity) from which you have nothing to learn. 7.Its much better to watch the film than read the book As a boy I have to say that I agree with this statement.First of all I dont like to read,I dont have the patience to do that so its easier for me to watch a movie than read the book.But that doesnt mean that its better to do that.We all know that reading a book gives you the opportunity to create the film,your imagination has no limits by doing this.The book makes you the director and the power is in your hands.When you watch the movie you see it through the eyes of someone else.The movie cant reproduce all that happens in the book,it is limited to the main action and tries to catch in two hours hundreds of pages.The book offers you more information , more feelings.

8. Drug addiction is a condition characterized by compulsive drug intake. Although being addicted implies drug dependence, it is possible to be dependent on a drug without being addicted. People that take drugs to treat diseases and disorders, which interfere with their ability to function, may experience improvement of their condition.In my case I have to say that the drug-addiction is not a threat to my life because it cant affect me.Im not a weak person and nothing can make me to take drugs.Nowadays the drugs are a threat to people who have no will and who are foolish.The most affected are the teenagers who enter in a circle of friends who consume drugs and for not being judged they try and afterwards they become addicted without realizing.To be accepted in a group is very important at this age and thats why the teens fell in the drugs trap. 9. Education begins at home. One does not only acquire knowledge from a teacher; one can learn and receive knowledge from a parent, family member and even an acquaintance. In almost all societies, attending school and receiving an education is extremely vital and necessary if one wants to achieve success.The school has a very important part in educating the young generation.Education in school referrs to the process of learning and obtaining knowledge ,in a form of formal education.The school offers you a set of rules,rules that if you didnt learn at home you learn it here.The school forms you as an individual,shapes your personality,your way of being and acting in the society. 10.My favourite season is the summer.I love this time of year because summer to me equals to holiday.During summer I can do whatever I want,I can go to the seaside or to the mountain.I love the water maybe thats why I enjoy this season.I think in other life I was a fish,in the water I feel as being in my element.Another reason is the fact that the summer is the time when I can visit and be with my best friends from childhood.In my view the summer is the perfect time to have fun,to forget about all your problems and just enjoy the nature and your friends.Summer to me means life,energy and happiness. 11.I dont know how others are,but I never wished to be like someone else.I never wished to speak like someone else,I never wished to follow an example.I want to be myself and do whatever I want without being

influenced by the others.Of course I appreciate some famous people but I dont consider them a role model for me.They live their life and I live mine.Many teenagers,nowadays have as a role model someone from showbizz and most of the times they dont realise that they are taken whats worse from them:they try to dress like them,to act like them in this way they have no personality,they are just copying someone.From a role model you have to learn something important that you can apply on your own.Thats why I dont have a role model.

12.Smoking is a threat to our lives.Nowadays,we confront with this problem who takes proportion day after day.Even if you dont smoke you are still affected by this.The specialists say that just inhaling the smoke is more dangerous than just smoking a cigarette.It is well-known that smoking is dangerous to your health,in time producing terrible diseases that can lead to death.With all the warnings and all the campaigns anti-smoking that are done for stopping this phenomenon people are still smoking.Its good that in public places smoking is prohibited and the restaurants,pubs have to arrange special places for smokers so that the non-smokers could not be affected. 13.If I were to choose between my computer and my mobile phone I will surely choose my computer,I have no doubt concerning my choice.Ill choose that because with my computer I can do things that I cant do with my mobile phone.The mobile phone is used just for calling someone.With the computer you can do more than that.A computer includes the function of a mobile phone. You can speak with your friends just by using the internet:you can speak with them through the microphone and also see them through the webcam without paying any money.I love playing on the computer so this is another reason why Ill choose it.The computer is also as a TV I can see movies,thing that I cant do with a phone.

14.Children should have the same jobs as their parents I dont agree with this statement,in fact its wrong to think like that.In my opinion everyone is free to choose what path to follow,what job to have.Its your life and you have to live it as you wish.The parents lived their lives,theyve chosen their careers,some of their dreams came true and you have the right to do the same thing like they did.Usually many parents try to convince their children to do the same job they have and in most of the cases after years the children regret the choice theyve made at that time or just after a while they give up and start from the beginning to fulfil their dream. 15.For my birthday I dont want to get a specific present.For my birthday I just wish to have the ones I love close to me:my friends,my family.The presents are not important,you can get them any time not only when is your birthday.For my birthday I just wish to party with my friends,because this moments you will remember after years not the presents.A present is just a material object but the memories are spiritual assets.I have to admit that I love to get presents,who doesnt?! Its exciting the curiosity you have at first,and then the surprise when you open the present but as I said the presents are not everything there are other things that are more important. 16.The last time when I went to disco was two weeks ago.I went to another place where my best friends from childhood are living.I have to say that I expected for a long time this moment because lately Ive been learning for the exam.I danced all night long and have fun with my friends.And what was most important,was the fact that a good friend of mine celebrated his birthday and in this way we have the opportunity to be in the same time at disco and also to a birthday party that took place there.I must say that the cake was delicious,and the atmosphere was perfect to forget about school for a while. 17.Turning 18 is seen as the crucial moment,the moment when you step into other world,in the world of adults.Its that point when you have to act as an adult,to take decisions by your own and to be responsible for the choices you made.When youre 18 you are no longer seen as a child.At this age you have rights you can vote,you can drive a car,you can sign an act without your parentss agreement.Turning 18 is also a problem because many teenagers think that from this point they are

free to do whatever they want,the parents having no authority. They dont realise that through this freedom you can mistake so easy without knowing .When you are 18 you get a position in the society ,you are seen with other eyes. 18.Somebody famous who I admire very much is Leonard Doroftei,the name tells everything.Leonard Doroftei is a boxer who won the WBAs(World Boxing Association) championship being declared lightweight world champion.I admire him for the strength he prove through his career and the ambition to be always in the top,to be the best.Doroftei is a hero for us and we all should learn from him.He brought Romania in the top and showed to the whole world what means to be a Romanian.I appreciate him because at his value hes so modest.There are a lot of persons who consider themselves celebrities and who in realiy are just some puppets on a scene.Leonard Doroftei through ambition and hard work succeded to do something that others cant.Hes a great father,having two wonderful kids.Now hes working as a trainer to form the future champions. 19.My room represents me,my personality,my way of being.I dont think it is important what kind of furniture I have in my room so Ill describe the room having in view other elements.The walls are full of empty Cds sticked by me.I tried to do a model on the walls with the cds so that it looks like a octopus(in the center are some cds and from the center many arms start to spread).Rest of the room is full of posters representing my favourite bands,because music is a passion of mine.Of course that from my room cant be missing the computer. 20.I usually spend my weekends going out with my friends in the park,at disco or at parties(when is the case).From time to time we are gathering for a football game or basketball.When I dont go out,I spend my time on the computer playing or navigating on the internet.Sometimes Im going to stay with my father because hes working in other part and in this way I meet also my friends from childhood.Rest of the time Im just staying and watch a movie. 21.I have a dream and thats to visit Egypt.I know everything about the culture of this place,Im fascinated about all that means Egypt.I

watched lots of documentaries on Discovery and seen movies and I can say that no country is more complex and wonderful as Egypt. The Culture of Egypt has five thousand years of recorded history. Ancient Egypt was among the earliest civilizations.I think that you live for nothing If u havent seen the pyramids and the temples with your own eyes.It is well-known that even the specialists cant explain the way how they raised and build them .I always wanted to see a pharaohs grave;I mean Ive seen in the movies but its different when you are face to face and see every detail from your point of view. 22.nu stiu ce cladiri sunt in Bacau,sorry

23.Music is very important in ones life I totally agree with this statement.From my point of view there is no life without music.Music makes us smile and give us strength to go on when we have the impression that we cant do that anymore.Music is a hidden friend without face but a friend with who you can speak and get advices when you need.Through music you can learn many things but you have to be careful what kind of music you listen.When I speak about music Im referring to the true music,the music with lines that touch your heart.I know a friend that had family problems and always was listening a certain song called Im Ok and with the help of this song she succeeded to go on and to forget about the pain their parents caused.
