Senior Vice President and Senior Loan Officer, 06/1994 to 12/2004 The Home Bank of Tennessee (purchased by BB&T) 216 Foothills Mall Dr., Maryville , TN 37801 Job Responsibilities: Worked directly for the president of the bank to obtain a new State of Tennessee bank charter to form The Home Bank of Tennessee, which started as a new communi ty bank in Maryville, TN originally formed with no assets and grew to over $ 100 M in total assets before it sold to BB&T. I also developed and managed a loan po rtfolio of $ 35M, and chaired weekly loan committee meetings. I also managed all aspects of loan compliance management to ensure all FDIC and State of Tennessee regulations were followed, actively integrating with state and federal bank exa miners. Vice President, First American National Bank, 04/1991 to 05/1994 Job Responsibilities: Reviewed and reported on the quality of the corporations loan portfolio and the adequacy of the loan loss allowances in the Blount County market of East Tenness ee. Managed a loan portfolio of business loans that averaged between $ 2M and $ 10M in annual sales. Reviewed and audited all commercial loans in the Blount Cou nty market to ensure compliance with proper documentation and underwriting proce dures, correcting for any deficiencies discovered.
