Dear Customer, Thank you for your continued interest in Oracle University and our Certification Program.

Starting 25th September 2009, Oracle Certification Exams will no longer be offered through Prometric. Oracle University will be transitioning to a new testing vendor, Pearson Vue, and our endeavor during this transition period is to have all of our Certification offerings available to our customers with minimal disturbance. You have received this letter because you have enrolled to take an Oracle Certification Exam and this abovementioned change may impact you. There are a few steps you will need to take before attending your upcoming exam. These are explained below. For previous exam candidates, steps required prior to attending Certification exam

At least five days prior to your scheduled Certification exam you will need to create a web account with Pearson Vue, instructions are below Your Prometric Testing ID will become your Oracle Testing ID. If you do not have your Prometric Testing ID, a Pearson Vue representative can assist. Contact them via http://www.pearsonvue.com/oracle/contact Creating this new web account will ensure that your previous exam history is available, so your existing certifications and certification paths are not affected

It is important that a new web account is created and authorised with Pearson Vue, otherwise you will not be able to sit your scheduled Certification exam. If there are problems verifying your previous account details, it may take up to three days to resolve. Creating a Pearson Vue web account If you are a new Pearson VUE user, and have not logged in to your profile on personvue.com/oracle before, you will follow the steps below to access your demographic data and Oracle Testing ID. Go to http://www.pearsonvue.com/oracle Select My Account Click on create a new web account: It is important that you enter your profile and contact information on the next screens as you think it exists in your Oracle profile as the system will perform an automated matching process that will match the record you are creating up with the record that was uploaded from Oracle. Create your profile>Next Enter contact information>Next An automatic matching process occurs. If Pearson Vue is able to match you to a record provided by Oracle, you will be taken to the next screen to create a username If Pearson is not able to match your record, you will be placed in a queue and will be contacted by Pearson within 72 hours for verification Create a username On this screen, you will be able to locate your Oracle Testing ID on the upper left of the page.
