Work Experience: Ministry of Agriculture, Mechanization and Irrigation Development: September 2008 to June 2010. Position: Senior Agronomist. Duties: Design Cropping programmes and rotations for design Engineers. Compute and provide crop and irrigation requirements to farmers for each specific location and as required. In collaboration with water management specialist, carry out irrigation water scheduling for irrigation schemes. Provide agronomic information related to irrigated areas and advise farmers on high yielding varieties and resistant to diseases and adapt better to the soil. Carry out estimates and create data bases on crop production. Train farmers and staff on agronomic consideration in irrigated agriculture.
