Working with the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act through social and viral media: - Using social media tools to bring awareness to the Recovery Act - Helping update and create websites - Creating information database systems - Developing creative solutions to project aws - Working with outside parties to gather critical information related to the Recovery act - Working with other staff members to ensure project goals are obtained Specic Accomplishments: Overhauled the Recovery Offices website within the State of Michigan's policy, becoming nationally recognized as standard of excellence. Created a more streamlined site with a fully interactive, Interactive County Map. Before the improvements, the interactive map consisted of PDF les; after the overhaul it consisted of interactive widgets allowing each person to see the breakdown of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act money in his/her community. Updated the "Whats New," "In the Media" and "On the Net" sections of the website. Beyond the website, dramatically increased the Michigan Recovery Acts viral presence through Twitter, Flickr, Youtube and Facebook. Increasing interaction and activity on Facebook by nearly 4,000%.

Skills
I am competent using all Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Access. I am also experienced using other programs such as Open Office and iWork. I have worked extensively with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, etc.) as well as database programs. I know and actively use Associated Press writing and editing standards. I am knowledgeable on both PC and Mac computers, I have helped created and update websites on both personal and professional levels. I am able to prociently use Adobe CS5, Dreamweaver and Word Press. I can also code using HTML, CSS and Java Script. While not uent, I can communicate in Spanish and have studies abroad in Quertaro, Mexico. I am continuing to learn and practice my Spanish speaking skills.
