LIGHT SPORT AIRCRAFT (LSA)

The Maverick production prototype was issued an FAA airworthiness certificate thereby achieving S-LSA status on September 28, 2010. This achievement allows the initiation of production of both S-LSA (Special Light Sport Aircraft) and E-LSA (Experimental Light Sport Aircraft ) Maverick units. To maximize customer flexibility, Maverick units will be initially offered as substantially complete Experimental - Light Sport Aircraft. Customers will be assisted in completing the assembly of their Maverick and will be given a familiarization review of their machine. Each unit will then be inspected by an FAA Inspector or a FAA Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR) to ensure that it conforms to the Special - Light Sport Aircraft design certified by the manufacturer under ASTM Standards. Each completed E-LSA will conform to the certified S-LSA, or be modified and approved as meeting ASTM requirements for the revisions and will be equal to the S-LSA in all material respects (with approved and noted changes). Revisions of plans and specifications are anticipated from time to time and will be noted in the Purchase Agreement by Plan Revision Date. The E-LSA advantages to customers will be: The customers participation in the assembly process will familiarize them with the Mavericks unique features and make them better and safer operators. The customer will have latitude to make certain alterations to his/her Maverick to customize the machine for his/her own specific use. The customer may have greater latitude for doing his/her own maintenance and performing periodic inspections as an owners of an E-LSA. (See FAA E-LSA regulations).

EXPERIMENTAL AMATUER-BUILT (E-AB)

Beyond Roads will also offer the Maverick as an Experimental Amateur-Built kit. Companion to this will be a builder-assist program for E-AB builders. Experimental amateur-built or homebuilt aircraft require that the major portion of the fabrication and assembly tasks be performed by persons who are building the aircraft for their own education and recreation. This is commonly referred to as The 51% rule. This option can offer many advantages over E-LSA and has become popular with Maverick builders. These aircraft can be flown by individuals holding an FAA sport pilot license as long as they meet the definition of a light-sport aircraft defined in FAR Part 1. These aircraft can be flown for sport or recreation, but cannot be used for flight training for hire or rental. Additionally, FAA regulations related to experimental amateur-built aircraft provide more latitude for the builder-owners involvement in continuing maintenance.

LICENSING
The Maverick is the first in what will eventually be a growing group of multi-medium vehicles. The name Maverick refers not only to the pioneering nature of this unique vehicle, but also to the pioneering spirit of those, like yourself, who see the opportunities made possible by a single machine that offers transportation on-road, off-road, and on soft water bodies and hard water (snow and ice). Rules and regulations for breakthrough transportation machines such as the Maverick always follow deployment. Together, we are cutting new trails. Every effort has been made, however, to research existing rules in the United States for both land and air vehicles that impact the Maverick, a single vehicle that functions in several transportation arenas. In the air The Maverick is classified by the Federal Aviation Administration as a Powered Parachute aircraft. As such, its operation, maintenance and continued airworthiness are governed by the Federal Aviation Regulations. In recent years, the FAA has developed new sport pilot and light sport aircraft regulations - under which a powered parachute may qualify. These regs set certain operating limitations such as a maximum gross weight and the number of occupants. These rules offer incredible freedom from the increasingly confining body of aviation rules that govern the use of non-LSA aircraft. For example, the sport pilot rules greatly reduce the requirements for obtaining a pilots license. All non-LSA pilots must also pass a flight medical certification every six months to two years. LSA pilots determine their own physical suitability to fly an expensive flight physical is replaced by a valid drivers license. On the ground The rules governing the use of motor vehicles driven on public roads fall under several state and federal entities. Typically, federal regulations apply to the construction and safety of the vehicle, however, state safety and operating regulations also apply. The state licensing regulations vary widely. Every state researched to-date has provisions for cars that are not mass-produced by automotive companies such as General Motors, Toyota or Kia. Kit cars are one such category. There are also provisions in some states that were developed to allow auto shops to use parts from one car to rebuild another car. In Florida, this provision is classified as Assembled From Parts. Some states allow the use of unlicensed agricultural vehicles, such as tractors, to use public roads. Beyond Roads has not attempted to determine all the possible ways to license Mavericks in all the different states. We can and are willing, however, to make suggestions, and are building a background of knowledge to help Maverick customers find the most convenient and flexible category to license your Maverick in your state for your intended use. For this reason, the Maverick developers also designed it to be either a three-wheel or a fourwheel vehicle. Besides the reduced regulations for motorcycles, a three-wheel Maverick would be lighter than the normal four-wheel Maverick allowing a significantly higher useful load in flight, in exchange for a reduction in ground stability. If you have interest in a three-wheel Maverick or you would like to have both options, please make this desire known when completing your Purchase Agreement.

FLIGHT TRAINING AND TRANSITION REQUIRMENTS

The Maverick was designed to be extremely simple and intuitive to drive and fly. Estimated flight time required for achieving the skills necessary to safely operate a Maverick will vary depending on an individuals existing pilot credentials and level of powered parachute flight proficiency. The following is a summary of US regulations. (See FAR Part 61.313 and 61.109.) Current Sport Pilot or Private Pilot License with a Powered Parachute Rating Dual instruction sufficient to attain proficiency for flight in the Maverick. Current Sport Pilot or Private Pilot License without a Powered Parachute Rating Dual instruction sufficient to attain proficiency for flight in powered parachutes with a properly qualified instructor and a proficiency flight review with a different qualified instructor. No Existing Pilot Credentials Depending on the FAA airworthiness certification and weight of specific Maverick to be flown, an individual would need to attain a sport pilot license or private pilots license with a powered parachute rating. Generally, the sport pilot option requires a minimum of 12 hours of dual instruction and solo experience and a valid US drivers license. A private pilot license with a powered parachute rating requires a minimum of 25 hours of dual instruction and solo experience and a current FAA medical certificate. Beyond Roads will provide a complete Maverick operation and maintenance orientation to each customer. However, flight instruction is not included in the agreed-upon Maverick purchase price. Beyond Roads will assist customers in attaining flight training and testing.

FINAL ASSEMBLY AND CONSTRUCTION ASSISTANCE

The level of assistance that Beyond Roads can and will provide in the final assembly or construction of a Maverick E-LSA or E-AB kit depends on applicable FAA regulations and company policy. E-LSA For Mavericks to be certificated as an E-LSA, each customer or customers designated representative will be required to carry out the final assembly process with assistance from a Beyond Roads-designated Builder Assistant. (No previous aircraft mechanical experience is required). It is anticipated that the final assembly steps will include: 1. Installation of wheels 2. Connection of steering mechanism to wheel hubs 3. Connection of the wing to the fuselage 4. Installation of the propeller, and 5. A thorough review of customers Maverick E-LSA according to Beyond Roads Designated Inspection Checklist. (This will assure conformity to the FAA/ASTM-standard Maverick.) Upon completing construction, the customer or customers representative is responsible for presenting their Maverick to an FAA Inspector or an FAA Designated Aircraft

Representative (DAR). The fee for a DAR inspection will be the customers responsibility and is typically $450 - $1,000. E-AB For Mavericks to be certificated as an E-AB, each customer or customers designated representative will be required, to work with a Beyond Roads-designated Builder Assistant. (No previous aircraft mechanical experience is required) Upon completing construction, the customer or customers representative is responsible for presenting their Maverick to an FAA Inspector or an FAA Designated Aircraft Representative (DAR). The fee for a DAR inspection will be the customers responsibility and is typically $450 - $1,000.

RESERVATIONS
Sequential reservations are made for each customer by the completion and signing of a Purchase Agreement with Beyond Roads LLC and the payment of a deposit of twelve thousand dollars ($12,000.00 USD) earnest money. (Copies of the Purchase Agreement may be obtained from Beyond Roads.) Delivery positions will generally be processed and delivery dates set in the order in which each Purchase Agreement and deposit is received. We are aware that there have been a number of aviation projects over the years that have abused trusting customers by receiving deposits and then failing to deliver the products promised. In other cases, promises of performance were made that manufacturers simply were not able to achieve. We have created a Sales Program that addresses these issues while balancing both the customers and vendors interest in this transaction. All deposits will be escrowed with a bank and will be returned, upon request, to each customer if Beyond Roads does not deliver the Maverick LSA as specified in the Purchase Agreement. The deposit and delivery position are transferable with any limitations specified in your Purchase Agreement.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE
The total cost of the Maverick E-LSA or E-AB kit will be broken down into five payments as follows: 1. $12,000.00 (USD) earnest money due with Purchase Agreement which is held in escrow for the benefit of the purchaser. 2. 25% of the contract price due within fifteen calendar days (15 days) of notification of purchaser by Beyond Roads upon completion of the chassis/fuselage cage 3. 25% of the contract price due within 15 calendar days (15 days) of notification of purchaser by Beyond Roads upon completion of the wing and wing deployment system, integrated control system and avionics 4. 25% of the contract price due within 15 calendar days (15 days) of notification of purchaser by Beyond Roads upon completion of the drive system including engine, harnessing, cooling system, engine control unit and propeller, as well as the completed suspension system.
