Procedure:
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Add Carbopol * Ultrez 21 Polymer to the deionized water with no agitation. The polymer will wet out in a few minutes. With moderate agitation, add propylene glycol, Glucam* E-20 Humectant, and glycerin. Add d-limonene to the dispersion. Mix until uniform. Slowly add laureth-7 to the water / solvent mixture. Mix until uniform. Add the preservative to the mixture. With high speed agitation add the sodium hydroxide to the formulation. Mix well until the product is smooth and homogeneous. Optional Ingredients: Add pumice, abrasive, color and fragrance if desired. COMMENTS: Due to the level of d-Limonene in this formulation, it is recommended that customers review the environmental and regulatory requirements of the states and countries where they wish to market this type of product to be sure that they are in compliance with local VOC regulations (i.e. California, New York, Texas).
