Core Courses
Awareness of global issues and other cultures comes both from theory and
practice. This is why ESSEC requires students to complete a minimum of
nine months abroad, via internships, study abroad, Core Track or Global
Manager in Asia Track in Singapore, or humanitarian missions.
Faculty Chairs
Faculty Teaching and Research Chairs allow students to follow a special track in
the area of their choice that combines theory (through academic courses) and
practice (through the close partnerships with the Chairs corporate sponsors).
Six Faculty Chairs are currently offered in English: LVMH,
sanofi-aventis Therapeutic Innovation, Innovation & Services, Private Equity,
Diversity & Performance, KPMG Financial Reporting.
Language Courses
French for foreign students, English, German, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, Italian,
Japanese, Russian
Complete all your core courses in one semester on ESSECs thriving Asian
Campus in Singapore. The eight core courses are taught by ESSEC faculty and
run from January to June. Students learn the basics of management disciplines
and at the same time acquire an Asian experience by living in Singapore.
Internships
More than 13,000 internships are offered, including 2,000 outside France.
Apprenticeship
This program allows students to alternate between work and study over
a two-year period.
Entrepreneurship
Study Abroad
ESSEC is the first French business school to offer a student business incubator.
All motivated students wishing to create their own business may benefit from
ESSECs entrepreneurial expertise and capital seed funds, including the social
incubator, Antropia.
Double-Degree Programs
A double degree allows students to get the best from both worlds in the same
amount of time! Current partners includes: Guanghua (China), Mannheim
(Germany), IIM Ahmedabad (India), Keio (Japan), Seoul National University
(Korea), EGADE (Mexico), Nanyang (Singapore).
COACH / Every ESSEC MSc student is coached throughout his/her studies. Coaches help monitor students professional and personal projects, help students assess their progress
and offer advice on academic and professional choices.

the diversity of this region and take part in its
booming development. They may opt for a more
general Asian experience by following the Core
Track that is offered every year from January to

Work while
you study
The curriculum lets students combine work and study
as they wish, offering different types of professional
experiences including high-level internships,
entrepreneurial projects, and the apprenticeship
program. Every year, over 13,000 internship
opportunities (including 2,000 outside France) are
announced to students online.
Around 30% of MSc students choose a work/study
program that allows them to alternate between
theoretical training and experience working in a
company for two years. In addition to acting as a
powerful career booster, through the experience that
students acquire and the professional network that
they build, this is an attractive financing solution:
company covers the apprentices tuition and offers
them a salary throughout the duration of the
contract.

the Graduate School of Business and Graduate
School of International Studies of Seoul National
University in South Korea, Nanyang Business
