a) Show that the fundamental period of x (t ) is 12. b) Find the Fourier series coefficients ck for x (t ) .

Problem 6 Sampling (34 points)


Let a continuous-time signal x(t ) be defined as:

c) Sketch the Fourier transform of x(t ). d) Let x[n ] denote the discrete-time signal obtained by sampling x(t ) with a sampling interval T = 1 second. Is there aliasing as a result of this sampling? Explain your answer. e) Find the reconstructed continuous-time signal ~(t ) obtained from x[n ] using an ideal low pass x filter with reconstruction interval T = 1 second as well.
