I. Minimum System Requirements Windows(r) 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT 4.0 SP3 Pentium 133 (166 recommended) 16MB RAM (32 recommended) 2MB video card (16-bit) 4X CD-ROM drive Direct Sound compatible sound card Mouse/keyboard II. Getting Started Insert the CD-ROM into your drive. The installation program should start automat ically. If it doesn't, double-click on your 'My Computer' icon, then double-cli ck your CD-ROM drive icon (there should be a picture of Beavis on it). Finally, double-click on the 'Setup' icon to install the game. Follow the directions for a 'Typical' installation. Running the Game Click the Start button in the lower left corner of the screen. Choose the 'Prog rams' folder, then the 'Beavis & Butt-Head' folder, then choose the 'Bunghole In One' icon. - Playing the Game The object of Bunghole In One is to finish all 18 holes with the lowest score po ssible. There are traps on some of the holes that cost you a stroke and put your ball back where it came from. (Try to avoid these.) Some holes can be finished with a single shot . . . you'll know you're good when you can sink at least one hole-in-one per game. When playing with 2-4 golfers, each player's ball stays o n the course until it's dropped in the hole. Keep in mind that you can knock oth er players' balls around with your ball during your turn. . . this is handy when you want to make an opponent's shot even more difficult than it already is. - Fly-Through Before starting the hole, you'll be treated to a fly-through of the course, allo wing you get the "lay of the land." To skip the fly-through, press the ESC key. - Putting When it's your turn to putt, your character will be highlighted in the scorebar, and he'll be in an extra-large box. The border around the box will match the co lor of your ball. Also, the game will home in on your ball with the 'ball finde r' animation. To putt, move the mouse over the ball, and hold the left mouse but ton down. While holding the button down, drag the cursor away from the ball. T his will show the aiming line. Release the mouse button to shoot the ball. The ball will head off in the opposite direction of the aiming line. The longer th e line, the harder the shot. To cancel the shot, click the right mouse button b

efore letting go of the left mouse button. If you want to see a different part of the hole, you can scroll the screen aroun d by moving the cursor to the edge of the screen. - Scorebar On the left of the screen is a scorebar. It shows the other players, the hole y ou're playing, the par, and the number of shots everybody has taken. To hide the scorebar, click on the arrow to the right of the bar. If you want to bring the bar back, click on the arrow again. Score-card To see how the game is shaping up, hole-by-hole, you can bring up the score-card . Press the button with the icon of a score-card to the right of the score-bar. III. Known Compatibility Issues If you are having difficulty running Bunghole In One under Windows NT 4.0, ensur e you have Service Pack (SP) 3 installed (available from www.microsoft.com).
