The projectWorks Event Management System

Introduction projectWorks has created a computerized Events Management System (EMS) that is carefully integrated with its own Fulllment information System, to work seamlessly to gather, store, retrieve and serve information related to its clients recruitment and other events. This system will be available to USNRC recruiters and other users to track their recruitment events, and related activities, tasks, expenses, and documents. What this document contains This document contains a PREVIEW of what the eventual Web based User interface will look like for the EMS. It is intended for illustration and training purposes, and the nal look and feel of the EMS may vary slightly from what is presented in this document. This document contains layouts/screenshots that are representative of the various information access areas in the new EMS. The various layouts/screens have been populated with sample data to illustrate the usefulness of each layout. 1 User Login Area The rst page the user will see will be an account Login area, as illustrated in the next page. This screen contains an area for the user to enter his/her credentials (username + password), and an area to retrieve a forgotten username and password. Initially all system users will be issued their account login information and will receive their credentials via an email from projectWorks. Upon correct entry of a valid username and password, the user will click on the Submit button, and will be routed to the Dashboard page.

2 The Dashboard Area The Dashboard, or Home area will provide a summary view of the Events, Activities, and Tasks that the logged-in user has coming up soon. Each section will contain its list view, and each row on each list will provide Hyperlink to a detailed view of that specic event, activity or task. 3 The Tabbed Interface The system will feature a tabbed interface that will allow users to select the exact area of information they want to access. This means fewer clicks to get to the desired information. For example, to view all events, click on the Events tab. To view all activities, click on the Activities tab, and so on. Please note also that the selected tab will have a background color OPPOSITE of all other tabs in that given tabbed set. For instance, on the main tabbed area, the selected tab displays with the dark blue background and white type, while the inactive tabs display in a reversed color scheme (blue type on a white background). The same is true of other tabbed areas (as seen on the detailed areas of the layouts). List View and Detailed Views 4 The system is designed so that the leftmost area of the screen will display a list view of all items within that selected tabbed area (ie Events), while the right side will display detailed information about the selected line item on the list view. 5 Documents Each event will have a related set of documents. These may include an event evaluation form, event logistical details, and so on. New Documents may be added by the User, and existing documents may be downloaded by the user viewing the information, by simply clicking the GO! button next to each available document listed. 6 6 Selected Items The items that have been selected by the user on any given list view will display in BOLD face. This will allow the user to quickly identify which record is being viewed in detail in other areas of the screen.
