-The teacher greets the students. Hello to everybody. -The teacher presents to the students a lot of letters written on the blackboard to be arranged in order to form different words and in this way students will find out the basic word of todays topic. -The teacher asks students to write associations they have to the word FAMILY
Students' Activity
-The students greet the teacher back. Hello -The students read the letters written on the blackboard and arrange them to form words. Students write them on the blackboard and they get the words Family and Values -The students write the associations to the word Family The students define the word family and try to include all the associations they have found.

- The majority of the students think that Love is the basic value in a family. The teacher proposes to students to read a story about a family where this feeling was present. But first their attention is directed to the new vocabulary. - Students are to match the words to the definition by guessing their meanings, then they have to make up sentences using the new words. - Students work individually matching the words to the definitions and make up sentences using the new words.

The students are to scan the text on page 76 LOVE for Art and the teacher ask students to find the main characters of the text and predict the story.
The students scan the text, find out the main characters and make predictions on the plot of the story.

-Teacher asks students to read the text picking up the main idea of the text. The teacher provides a conversation based on the text emphasizing situations from the story and the way the characters behaved. The teacher asks the students to explain the title of the text and involve students in a conversation about the values in Delia and Joes family.
The students read the text aloud one by one. - Students find the main idea and try to comment on it, then answer the teachers questions based on the text.
Conversation
The students participate in the conversation explaining the title of the text supporting it with arguments and speak about the values in the family of the characters in the text. Students work in groups expressing their points of view.
