40CA-18S has harden housing and is good for car back sonar application.
40CA-25R is the sensor 40CA-18S being rnodified by a rubber cap with opening 11 mm. Such kind
of sensor has higher sensitivity.
Other Part Number: 40CA-15E, 40CA-15S, 40CA-18E and 40CA-25E
All of the above sensors can be modified to Transmitter/Receiuer in pair. Its efficiency will thus be
improved for 3-5dB.
Remark: *Signal/noise ratio was test with echo from glass plate 100cm far.
**Ring time was test with input 120V, 40k(Hz, 0.8msec, square wave.
