Who am I? You can call me Joe, or whatever you like. I dont even know if anybody will be reading this anyways. If you do, then beware, and consider our experience as a warning for your adventure to come! Oh and please disregard possibly missing entries, you dont know what this journal has been going through. Regardless, you should be able to follow us anyways.

Journal Entry *1 Date: cannot remember does it matter anymore? Well, here I am, writing this as a testimony of what we are currently living. I don't know why I'm bothering to keep this journal up to date, I cant name anyone in this place who would be able to read it when I'm gone. For peace of mind I suppose. Where should I begin? It would help if you could tell me what you expect to find in here, but I will assume you are in the same situation as us right now and just go on. I was going through another typical day of boredom, trying to get work and keeping myself entertained, at least. I'm not sure what happened then, but all of a sudden there was a voice in my head telling me I had to prepare myself. Before I knew what was going on, some kind of a portal opened up in my living room. Round, glowing and beyond, through some kind of floating red liquid, I could see a city, a medieval town of some kind. Stone and wood buildings, strange people who looked like 17th century peons, some not even human! A real fantasy world I was facing, out of nowhere. Somehow I knew it wouldnt stand there forever and I had to do something quick. It felt like a dream and perhaps that's why I went through, to evade the world I was living in. It seemed to me like the only logical thing to do at the time. I don't know why. At least I had the presence of mind to grab what I could, the necessary survival kit. So I popped on the other side, I guess. I started to think I should probably try to learn what was going on from the locals. I really felt like a complete stranger!

Journal Entry 2 What in the world was I thinking when jumping through this portal? I guess Ill never know. Anyways, there I was, alone, in a strange fantasy kingdom. A few minutes after I realized I was there, I finally understood the situation I was in, and it was nothing like a dream anymore. Looking back, no portal. I guess I was just stuck there for no reason. However, I wasnt the only one around and looking at the surroundings, several other people seemed to be in the same situation. The only ones that looked like Strangers to this place. We were all strangers, literally, homeless in this new land of fantasy. By talking with who seemed to be locals (English speaking, oddly enough!), I learned that I was standing in a little traders town called Malakov. friendly. I just noticed I had no clue about their written language, a complex combination of sticks that was somehow similar to medieval and Egyptian languages. It seemed this tumultuous was a crossroads for all the races in this kingdom. Based on my knowledge, there seemed to be little men, dwarves, could be elves and even half-lizardmen that really looked creepy. There we were, camping outside town altogether, trying to get a grasp of what just happened to us.
