The new requirements for architecture and building require more demanding, up-to-date information, regarding the implementation and use of constructed surroundings, which affects the quality of life for everyone. They also assume renewed demands for sustainability and a coming together of the building processes and developers, regarding environmental, social and economical matters. The School of Architecture at San Jorge University educates architects with a commitment to functionality, economy and environmental balance from three perspectives: the technical aspects of the profession; sensitive, artistic and technological research and personal commitment. The three perspectives should be mutually reinforcing in the vision of professionals oriented and trained for alternative future contexts, when working in teams in both local and international settings.
