Plan

Rationale In compliance with policies, procedures and standards in matters of health care across the country, the researcher prepared an action plan "Harmonizing health care standards with professional staff culture in Talisay District Hospital in 2011. Though the action plan is primarily targeted for regular nurses since they are the main strength in the district hospital, volunteer nurses may also take part. The action plan addresses five areas of concern, namely: standardization of care, safe nurse staffing, collaborative nursing practice, admission, and policies, procedures, and protocol in disease prevention and control. Activities in the action plan are aimed towards the following: 1. Provide care comparable with city hospitals
2. Identify the impact of understaffing

5. Orient policies, procedures, and protocol in disease prevention and

control
