AMPERGY Solid Oxide Fuel Cell Powders

Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) technology is considered to be one of the most promising technologies for the conversion of chemical energy into electrical power and heat. Having a wealth of experience in powder mass production, H.C. Starck started to develop ceramic powders for SOFCs in 2000 in order to create an industrially produced powder basis for the commercialization of SOFC technology. Consequently, the development aimed to create a cost-effective and easily controllable processes. H.C. Starck has the knowledge of the application requirements and the research trends of SOFC powders and cell components. Particularly noteworthy is the state-of-the art plant for SOFC component production at H.C. Starck Ceramics in Selb, Germany.
