Paper Formatting Guidelines for TICA 2011

ABSTRACT Abstract should be typed in English and less than 250 words. The abstract should contain the brief explanation about research topic and scope, method, results and discussion, and conclusion. Keywords: Keyword_1, Keyword_2, Keyword_3, Keyword_4 (Max. 5 words and Min. 4 words related to the research topic).

1. INTRODUCTION This paper provides the formatting guidelines for TICA 2011. The paper should be typed in English within four pages. Title, author, author affiliation should be typed on the top centre of the first page of the paper. Title should be typed by capital letter with font format Arial, 12 pt, bold, while author name with font format Arial, 11 pt, bold. Author affiliation should be typed with font format Arial; 10 pt and email address should be typed with Arial, 10 pt, and italic format. 1.1 Formatting the Paper The paper size used in the TICA11 is A4 (210 mm wide by 297 mm tall). All printed material, including text, illustrations, charts, footnotes, and tables, must be kept within a print area of 176 x 227 mm (width x height). Do not write or print anything outside the print area. The top and the bottom margin must be 3.5 cm, and the left and the right margin 1.8 cm. All text must be in a two-column format. Figures, tables, equations, and such can span two columns, where necessary. The columns are to be 84 mm wide, with an 8 mm space between them. 2. METHOD AND EXPERIMENT PROCEDURE Describing research method or technique of the research and experimental procedures in order to acquire the data. Should not type in several point formats, but in several comprehensive sequence explanation paragraphs. All the units should be typed in Standard International Unit (SI Unit), e.g. meter, millimeter, kg

or g, Newton, etc. Decimal number should be typed using dot (.), e.g. 3.4 m. Comma (,) should be used for currency unit, e.g. 1,000 USD. 2.1 Equations Equations should appear in the text where they are introduced. All equations must be numbered, the equation number being parenthesized and right aligned. The equation itself is centered on the column and vertically separated from the text by a space of one text line. In the case of multi-line formulas, the equation number is vertically cantered on the equation. An example equation can be written as (1)

in italic both in the text and in the equation itself. Note that the equation is a part of a sentence, and thus correct punctuation must be applied. 3. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

Contained all the explanation of research data and analysis 3.1 Figure Format The attachment of the figure is in order to simplify the explanation of the idea or to give more detail and clearer explanation to the readers. All the figures should be attached on the centre page with high-resolution format in order to ease the reader observation. The figure should be attached together with the simple figure title. If the figure is a quotation figure from another reference, the reference should

be typed at the figure as number that is identical with the reference section. Figure title should be shown below the figure by centre page format, Arial, 8 pt font format, and capital letter at the first letter of each word, except conjunctive such as and, or, in, at, on, for, of, etc. The explanation of every figure attached should be discussed in the main text.

[1] 5.1 Reference Format taken from Paper or Journal The writing order starts from author name (ended by dot), title (ended by dot), the journal name (ended by dot), publishing year (ended by comma), volume number (if followed by number, the number should be typed in the brackets, without space after volume number then ended by colon), page number (ended by dot). Author name is started from the last name/ family name followed by initial/first name then initial/middle name, and so on, without comma (,) nor dot (.) between last and first name. If the authors are four people or less people, all the authors should be mentioned. If the authors are exceeding five people, four first people should be mentioned and the rest is typed by et al. or dkk. Examples:

3.2 Table Format Table should be attached in the centre page format. Table title should be shown on the top of the table. Writing format of the table is same with figure format. Notation about table resource and units should be typed below the table.

5.2 Reference Format taken from Books The writing order starts from author name (ended by dot), title (ended by dot), the book name (ended by dot), editor name (followed by (Ed.)), publishing place (ended by colon), publishing company (ended by dot), publishing year (ended by colon), and page number (ended by dot). Example:

4. CONCLUSION The description of the conclusion from research data and analysis, it should not type in several point formats, but in one or several comprehensive sequence explanation paragraphs. 5. REFERENCE Included all the related reference that is used to do and write the paper. Reference should be typed by Arial, 8 pt. Font format. 5.3 Reference Format taken from Internet Reference from Internet (website) should include Uniform Resource Locator (URL) and accessed date. Article name and article author (if existed) should be attached. Examples:
