Executive Summary
The practice was set up in 2002, after the criminal department of an older established legal firm separated to concentrate solely on this specialist area of practice. The firm has enormous experience of defending all aspects of criminal and regulatory prosecutions, and also undertakes prosecutions for individuals and organizations. Help is provided at the Police Station, Magistrates court, High Court, and Court of Appeal. There are two partners and four solicitors, and a large support staff, performing exclusively criminal work. We regularly deal with serious criminal matters in Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, lower Punjab and all major cities of Punjab. All of our lawyers are able to represent. We file petitions and deal cases in police stations and magistrates court, High Courts, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Pakistan. We have been assessed as a Competence Plus firm by the Legal Services Commission, the Government body who audit and grade all providers of publicly funded legal services.

Knowledge Gained
MBA offers an opportunity to learn the theory behind some different skills than those taught in the average law degree, and also to be involved in case studies and see the results of alternate methods of running businesses. For legal professionals looking towards a career switch down the road, an MBA is seen as more useful than any other professional degree. Lawyers who have obtained an MBA often note that they have gained knowledge and skills beyond those offered in law courses and are now able to extend their level of service to clients. An MBA can help lawyers develop more commercial solutions to problems, and enable them to better empathize with client needs. Now lawyers go into financial institutions and undertake qualifications towards an MBA, which is perhaps more practical in their role. An MBA is probably of greater benefit, particularly if the lawyer is based in-house, in order to raise the level of commercial understanding, learning to read balance sheets, and so on.

Skills Developed
An MBA provides me with the opportunity to expand my skills beyond law. As a Partner in a firm, it is imperative that I have the management skills necessary to fulfill my role in servicing clients, managing my team and marketing and managing my practice area. We tend to be very law focused at times in our personal development and it is useful to invest in a broader skill set. It is all part of the way we seek to position ourselves with the best possible skill set to provide our clients with quality advice within tight timeframes. An MBA brings lawyer skills in areas outside a lawyer's traditional training. Many of these are essential for the management of a law firm. An MBA also trains lawyers to think in a different way to that usually required when addressing a legal problem. Quite often, a legal problem requires a precise answer and detailed factual analysis. However managers are often required to make decisions on the run and without all the facts. An MBA assists lawyers in adopting this form of framework.

Recommendations
As we know that new firms and companies are emerging, therefore need of copyright laws is an emerging demand in business law. So our firm should also deal in copyright laws. The banking sector is evolving rapidly and most of the business transactions are carried through banks. Insurance and lease are one of the major services provided by the banks. Without these two services no business activity can be performed. So our firm should also focus on these two major areas. Nowadays most of the transactions are carried out through internet by using internet banking and online shopping. Thats why internet crimes are also increasing. In coming days the scope of internet laws will be at peak. So our major focus should be on internet laws.

Conclusion
As a lawyer I felt some gap in my profession. Thats why I did my MBA to get the knowhow of business. So that I could understand business practices and business structure properly. MBA helped me a lot in my profession. So it was a good decision to do an MBA for meeting the requirements of my profession.
