This bracelet makes a common design element, a coiled S-hook,
level 1
into a focal piece. When combining wire with leather or other

1. Use 14g wire to make a coiled S-clasp (see page 21)

2. Bend the clasp into a slightly curved shape that mimics the
curve of your wrist so it will sit gracefully.

7. Slip the loop onto the large coiled side of the clasp. Lay the

Coiling adds a nice texture to any piece of wire jewelry. Use this simple level 3
technique to create a frame around colorful stone nuggets, then coil
some or coil them all to create a lively bib-style necklace.
