VILLAUME & SCHIEK, P.A. RETAINED BY MICHAEL B. BRODKORB

VILLAUME NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED AUTHORITY ON EMPLOYMENT LAW AND ETHICS

(Bloomington, MN) Today, the law firm of Villaume & Schiek, P.A. announced they have been retained by Mr. Michael B. Brodkorb to serve as co-counsel in representing Mr. Brodkorb in potential legal action related to his employment at the Minnesota Senate. Attorneys with Villaume & Schiek, P.A. will work with Gregory Walsh with the law firm of Walsh & Gaertner, P.A., as was previously announced. As stated by Mr. Walsh, weve been ascertaining details surrounding events leading up to and immediately following Mr. Brodkorbs departure from the Minnesota Senate and our client has been reviewing his legal options, said Mr. Villaume. If the decision were made to pursue legal action against the Minnesota Senate, former Senate Majority Leader Amy Koch would not be the defendant of any litigation. Our firms look forward to working with counsel recently retained by the Minnesota Senate to resolve any legal issues related to Mr. Brodkorbs employment with minimal disruption to the current legislative session, concluded Mr. Villaume. ### PHILIP VILLAUME Attorney Philip Villaume has been practicing law since 1979 when he founded Villaume & Associates. He was joined by attorney Jeffrey Schiek in 2000, and the firm name changed to Villaume & Schiek, P.A., in 2003. Together and independently, attorneys Villaume and Schiek have successfully represented thousands of clients in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Our firm's experience and practice areas have broadened with the inclusion of attorney Dean Barkley, as an Of Counsel attorney. GREGORY WALSH Established in 2000, Walsh & Gaertner, P.A., is one of the top-rated personal injury law firms in the Twin Cities. With nearly 30 years of combined legal experience, founding attorneys Gregory Walsh and Mark Gaertner each bring extensive knowledge and a proven record of success to the firm. After only three years of practicing law Mr. Walsh was recognized as a "Super Lawyer" by Twin Cities Business Monthly and Minnesota Law and Politics; a distinction afforded less than 6% of all Minnesota Lawyers and almost never bestowed upon a lawyer practicing fewer than 5 years.
