EKO-Gro for
Seed, Table & Frozen Potato Crops
EKO-Gro is a foliar spray treatment for potato crops which provides multiple improvements to crop & soil health and numerous economic benefits to growers. EKO-Gro is:
Pure Ascophyllum nodosum marine algae harvested from the cold, arctic waters off Norway no additives. Nutritionally rich - chelated, colloidal, and optimally balanced = Bio-available Full of naturally-occurring, complex compounds which improve soil microbiology = Bio-active A complex activator of plant and soil biology.
EKO-Gro Benefits:
Yield increases of 20% and more Greater potato density Potatoes are more symmetrical and uniform in shape. Scab is greatly reduced, if not eliminated. Plants are healthier and resistant to pests and disease (reduction in chemical costs). o 30% reduction of nematode-cysts The respiration during winter storage is reduced and potatoes can be sold for up to 4 weeks longer in spring. Dramatic soil structure improvements Depleted soils are rejuvenated o Improved crumble structure + increased waterholding capacity = Decreased soil erosion o Post-harvest - the large amount of hair roots increase the raw humus offered to the soil biology. Glassy potatoes brought on by drought conditions are unknown when using EKO-Gro. Aroma and flavor of potatoes are Intensified. Reduces crop rotation requirements without ground fatigue or pest (nematode) increases Increased profitability from a GREEN alternative
Nematode Control Option: Soil application in Fall can destroy harmful nematode populations.

Additional Application Option: A single EKO-Gro application to soil in autumn with organic material intensifies composting action (heat) and kills harmful nematodes in a natural process (premature hatching induced by composting warmth and death of L2-stage juveniles due to winter cold).
Fry/Frozen-market potatoes
