Building Codes and Standards Loads and effects SNiP 2.01.

07-85*
Changing No 2 of SNiP 2.01.07-85* 1. Item 1.3 a) must be stated in the following edition: a) during calculating as regards the durability and strength in compliance with items 2.2, 3.4, 3.7, 3.11, 4.8, 6.11, 7.3 and 8.7. 2. In item 1.7: subparagraph k) be stated in the following edition: k) snow loads with decreased design value calculated by means of multiplying of the total design value by the coefficient 0.5. it is necessary to add the following note: Note. In the regions with average temperature in January 5 degrees below zero and higher (according to map 5 of Annex 5 to SNiP 2.01.07-85*), snow loads with decreased design valued are not calculated. 3. Subparagraph of d) of item 1.6 must be stated in the following edition: d) snow loads with total design value. 4. Item 5.1 must be stated in the following edition: 5.1. Total design value of snow load on the horizontal projection of the covering must be calculated by the following formula:

S Sg

where Sg design value of the snow cover weight per 1 square meter of horizontal ground surface taken in compliance with item 5.2; the coefficient of conversion from snow cover weight to snow load taken in compliance with items 5.3 5.6. 5. Item 5.2 must be stated in the following edition: 5.2. Design value of the snow cover weight load Sg 1 square meter of horizontal ground surface must be taken depending on the snow region of the Russian Federation according to the table 4 Snow region of the Russian 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Federation (taken according to the map of the obligatory Annex 5) Sg kilopascal 0.8 1.2 1.8 2.4 3.2 4.0 4.8 5.6 (kilogram-force per 1 square (80) (120) (180) (240) (320) (400) (480) (560) meter) Note. In insufficiently explored mountain regions which are shown on the map 1 of the obligatory Annex 5, in the places which are more than 4500 meter high above seal level, in the places with complex relief as well as if local data appreciably differ from the data given in table 4 so it is necessary to calculate design value of the snow cover weight in compliance with the information received from the hydrometeorology service of the Russian Federation. At the same time it is necessary to take as the design value Sg maximum of the annual snow cover weight which is exceeded ones in 25 years. 6. Item 5.7 must be stated in the following edition: 5.7. Standard value of the snow load is calculated by means of multiplying of the design value by the coefficient 0.7. 7. Map 1 Division of the USSR territory into districts according to the snow cover weight of Annex 5 must be replaced by map 1 Division of the Russian Federation territory into districts according to the design value of the snow cover weight
