Key Selection Criteria 1. Completion of a bachelor degree in an area of electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related discipline.

Response: I completed my Bachelor (B.Sc.) study from the department of Computer Science and Engineering, Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, one of the leading technical universities in Bangladesh. 2. Completion of a PhD or Masters (by research) in a relevant area. Response: I am going to finish my Masters (M.Sc.) study within November, 2011 on Wireless Networks and Electronics from Linkping University, Sweden. I have completed my all course works from Linkping University and now doing my Masters thesis in the department of Informatics, Technical University of Munich, Germany. However, my Thesis work is independent from the Technical University of Munich, but it is going on in Fraunhofer Research Institution for Applied and Integrated Security, Munich, one of the leading research institutions in Germany. In my thesis work, I am going to present a standard security approach for the mobile devices as well as wireless networks. 3. Substantial knowledge and skill in either mathematical modelling OR programming. Response: I have knowledge and skill in mathematical modeling and programming. I worked with C/C++ and currently working on Java. 4. Demonstrated experience in the theory of stochastic processes, control, optimisation or queueing. Response: In my undergraduate and graduate courses, I studied about Stochastic processes, control, optimization and queuing and did some little academic works on these topics, unfortunately, not so much. 5. Strong programming skills in C/C++. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python would be an advantage. Response: I worked with C/C++ during academic studies as well as in my job period. Unfortunately, I dont know Python, but hope to learn within a short period of time. 6. Knowledge and experience with development of device drivers for wireless chipsets such as Atheros, in Unix and Linux based systems Response: I worked as academic project in Linux based systems. 7. Experience with networking tools available in Linux or FreeBSD, and familiarity with the implementation of the protocol stack in one or the other.
