WORK PROFILE OF LECTURER 1. Formats implementation ! Working day calculation is to be done before preparing a yearly planning. ! Semester planning of the syllabus of the respective subjects. ! Lesson planning of each of the chapters of the syllabus in advanced and getting it approved by the Vice principal before putting it into practice. ! Weekly log book to be filled in on every Saturday and to be submitted to vice principal before leaving. ! Dedicated student log book to be maintained subject vise. Planning ! Resources & teaching aids are to be planed as per lesson plan & kept ready before one starts the chapter. ! Examination Question papers to be prepared well in advanced on given deadlines. ! Revision schedule is to be planed in advanced and implemented. ! Litho/Notes preparation for the whole year of the respective subject within given deadlines. Assessment ! Assessment of the students' work (Assignment, fair book, and other) ! Self analysis to be filled in genuinely on monthly basis in the given format. ! Keeping track of progress of the students ! Achievement of each student in various fields (Art, dance, music, sport etc.) ! Finding out special needs students and giving them dedicated student improvement program advantage. ! Hidden talent of students to be found and keep respective teachers/seniors informed about the same. Keeping record of it and encouraging students to participate in the co curricular activities pertaining to it. Record keeping ! Subject specific progress of the students is to be prepared after each unit test and to be given to the parents along with the report card. ! Dedicated student improvement subject specific list of the dedicated students is to be maintained after each test (updating after each test) ! No changes of any kind in the lesson plans without the written consent of the Principal. ! Timely completion/submission of all the tasks/reports without excuses. ! C.W done/pending record is to be maintained to take follow up for the same and keeping children on the track for the same. ! PW given record is to be maintained to keep a watch on it and taking required follow ups. Techniques for effective teaching ! Preparing self property for the lesson before delivering it to the class. ! Preparing students for the lesson in an informal & indirect way. ! Organizing an integrated day by planning lesson & activity in such a way. ! Keeping children on task to avoid disruption during the class. ! Involving students in the activity/lesson going on, rather than making them an audience only. ! Making learning process meaningful to children. ! Planning new topic well in advanced before getting into the class.
