ADD A COST

Click on Add a cost A new line of cost appears

The detail of the parameters of the line of cost is available as annex of this document.

Fill the fields of the line of cost

The elements of the line of cost allow us to deal with any type of cost, fixed or variable. Example 1 : 10 for the registration's fees We shall write "10" in the field 'Value', "EUR" in the field 'Currency', "Tax" in 'Type of cost', as this is for a public entity and we shall write "registration fees " in 'Optional text'.

We can attach files to the Cost part to precise for example the values of the variable costs.

This is how this entry will appear on the public interface:

VI.d. STEP - Costs

p. 1

We can order the list of costs with the arrows . The order of the costs on the public interface is the same as on the step's sheet.

Example 2 : 1 euro per page of a contract for stamping each page of a contract with 1 Euro stamp.
A cost can be borrowed by clickink on the icon .

We shall write "1" in the field 'Value', "EUR" in the field 'Currency', "per" in 'Operator', "page" in 'Variable', "Tax" in 'Type of cost', "5" in 'Average value', as we consider the hypothesis 5 as the number of pages to be stamped and we write "fiscal stamp " in 'Optional text'.

This is how this entry will appear on the public interface:

Example 3 : a contribution of 3% of the benefits for the tax on benefits: We shall write "3" in the field 'Value', nothing in the field 'Currency', "%" in 'Operator', "Capital Amount" in 'Variable', "Tax" in 'Type of cost', "33000" in 'Average value', as we consider the hypothesis of a benefit of 33 000 EUR and "tax on benefits" in 'Optional text'.

This is how this entry will appear on the public interface:

Example 4 : a cost that varies following a rule : the tax is 4% if the operation's cost is higher than 100 000 US $ and 2 % if the operation's cost is lower than 100 000 US $. We shall fill two lines of cost as the Example 3 and we shall fill "Or" in the field '+/or' of the second line.

ADD A COSTS SEPARATOR

Some additional fees are sometimes asked for certain categories of users. We can then add costs separators that will distinguish the cost as the category. Thos separators are the ones that are used for the requirements (moral person, legal person, non residents, representative).

1
The function Duplicate block of costs is used for copying a block of costs at the end of the list of costs. 2

Click on Add costs separator

A line of costs separator appears.

Change the name of the separator and it type.

Individuals (natural persons): the cost applies for the individuals Companies (legal persons) : the cost applies for a company Non resident (foreigner) : the cost applies for someone that is not a resident of the country Representative : the cost applies to an authorized representative Special case (not in summary) : the cost do not appear in the summary of the procedure

Example : the natural persons pay 10 EUR and the legal persons pay 20 EUR. We shall fill two lines of fixed costs, with a previous costs separator for each line. For the first costs separator, we shall enter the name "For a natural persons" and the type "Individuals (natural persons)". For the second separator, we shall fill "For a legal person" and the type "Companies (legal persons)".

All the fees due to the government are "tax" and all the rest is "external fees".

ANNEX : Parameters of a line of cost

Le '+ / or'. The sign '+' is selected by default and correspond to a cumulative cost. The sign 'or' indicates an alternative cost that can replace the previous cost. The Value of the cost.

The devise ('Currency') in which is given the cost.

The Operador that allows dealing with non fixed costs.

The eventual variable of the cost.

The Type of cost.

The field Optional text for adding the description of the cost. The Average value for the summary. We shall indicate an average value in two cases: 1. in the case where the cost is variable (ex. 3% of the capital) 2. in the case where there are alternative costs (fixed or variables) When there is a variable (ex. capital amount, number of pages, etc.) we shall indicate a value for this variable to estimate the total cost of the procedure in the summary. We shall then put in the field "Average value" the value that would be taken into account in the calculation. Ex. Capital amount = 1'000$, number of pages = 10. When there are alternative costs, we shall proceed in the same way on the line of the cost that we want to be taken into account for the

calculation of the total cost in the summary. Ex. for the rule, 3% for an operation lower than 1'000'000 and 2% for an operation higher than 1'000'000. If we estimate the average operation to be 5'000'000, we shall put this value in the field Average value on the second line of cost.
