Up to $10,000 will be awarded to three winners. The Future Leadership Awards competition is open to Massachusetts high school seniors of Asian descent. (See application for details.) A $1,000 Scholarship will be awarded to a senior student in high school, who does not need to be in the uper 10% of the class, but is planning on attending an accredited school or college on a full-time basis after graduation. The Buick Achievers Scholarship Program wants to reward students who have succeeded both inside and outside of the classroomand who may not be able to attend college without financial assistance. It's a reward for what you've made of yourself and the difference you are making for others. The Buick Achievers Scholarship Program is offering: Up to $25,000 per year for 100 first-time freshman or existing college students, renewable up to four years and one additional year for those entering a qualified five-year engineering program. $2,000 one-time awards for an additional 1,000 students. for students applying to Davidson (belkscholarship@davidson.edu). Joseph V. Valeriani Scholarship 2012 Application The Joseph V. Valeriani Scholarship is given to Medford High School Seniors who best exemplify the legacy of Dr. Joseph V. Valeriani, former MHS teacher and past President of the Medford Historical Society. The award seeks students with a demonstrated interest in Medford history, an intellectual or hands-on interest in historic preservation and a desire to pursue the study of history in a college or university, or to apply construction or horticultural skills to the preservation of historic properties. This year, the Joseph V. Valeriani Scholarship Committee will award one $500 book gift certificate or $500 cash to the student with the winning essay

Any high school student in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is eligible. The scholarship is not academically based, but is awarded on the basis of need, who show leadership qualities within their school. The selected recipients will receive annual grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 to be used as specifically requested for school tuition, summer programs and other appropriate extracurricular activities.

Massachusetts Broadcasters Association

Students who are permanent residents of Massachusetts and are in the process of enrolling, or are currently enrolled, at an accredited institution of higher learning are encouraged to apply for a $2,000 scholarship. Such institutions include vocational schools, 2or 4-year colleges or universities offering degrees in radio and television broadcasting. One $500 Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior at Medford High School. Student must have a proven interest in business and a grade point average of 2.5 or better. The scholarship is intended to give recognition to students who have demonstrated an interest in local history through their studies or community involvement and/or who wish to pursue the study of history in a college or university, or to apply construction skills to the preservation of historic properties. Please see application for complete details. 6 - $1,000 Scholarships shall be awarded annually to a Medford student regardless if they attend public, private or parochial high school. Scholarships will be awarded based on need, scholarship ability, character and activities. One scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded. The student must be a senior in high school who does not need to be in the upper 10% of the class, but is planning on attending an accredited school or college on a full-time basis after graduation. 2 - $1,000 Scholarships shall be awarded annually by the MWYC who attend MHS. Scholarships will be awarded based on need, scholarship ability, character and extracurricular activities.

Up to $10,000 will be awarded to three winners. The Future Leadership Awards competition is open to Massachusetts high school seniors of Asian descent. (See application for details.) A minimum of twenty-five scholarships at a maximum of $1,000 dollars minimum of $500 will be given only to a four year college (including vocational and/or technical). See application for details. This year, the Alumni Association, is offering four $1,600 scholarships to prospective students that are related to a Salem State University alumnus. These scholarships are renewable for a period of up to four years. Funding for these scholarships is made possible through the efforts of the Alumni Association. One scholarship in the amount of $500 will be issued to a college bound high school senior. Applicants must show that they intend to include in their educational studies an interest in Italian language, history, culture or a foreign language. Also an interest in community, academic and/or social activities. Offers 4 year renewable scholarships for students with financial need who display financial excellence, a commitment to serving others in school, the community or at home and a strong work ethic. The Alumni Band is offering this award to honor the standard of excellence in music that is achieved throughout a band members high school years. This scholarship/award program is open to students with a serious interest in music or a related field. Awards will be made based on scholastic achievement, financial need, commitment, and musical ability. See application for more information.

The Alumni Band The Doreen Carrabino McNulty Fund 2012 Skaters Scholarship This scholarship is for one male and one female skater (figure or hockey) who demonstrates personal excellence on and off the ice. To be eligible the applicant must be pursuing a career that helps/serves others (i.e.: medical, education, police, firefighting etc.) The scholarship is due April 15, 2012.
