The Palace of the Lost City

The Crystal Court

The Crystal Court at the Palace of the Lost City accommodates 120 guests and the Terrace and Tea Lounge offers seating for a further 160 diners. The restaurant serves delicious international cuisine, with a strong African influence. It is open daily from 06h30 until 11h00 for breakfast and dinner from 18h30 until 22h30. A lavish afternoon High Tea is also served at the Crystal Court daily from 15h00 until 17h30. The dress code is smart casual.

The Villa Del Palazzo

The Villa is a fine dining Italian restaurant with a superb wine list and an emphasis on Northern Italian cuisine. A maximum of 180 diners can be seated on hand-carved chairs in a five-domed pavilion. The Villa Del Palazzo is open daily for dinner from 18h30 until 22h30 and reservations are essential. the dress code is smart elegant.

The Palace Pool Deck

The pool deck restaurant seats up to 120 diners and serves a South African barbecue from 12h30 until 15h00 on weekends, weather permitting. The restaurant also serves a snack menu daily from 12h30 until 17h30.

The Tusk Bar & Lounge

The decor of the Tusk Lounge has a colonial feel and is dominated by three 5.6 metre arches, each made in the form of two huge elephant tusks. The bar is open from 07h00 until 00h00 and serves an extensive list of cocktails which guests can enjoy while the house pianist serenades them. Enjoy a light snack from 10h00 until 21h00.

The Gazebo
The Gazebo experience is a fine dining outdoor facility under a romantic gazebo, with light music on request, and a set menu from one of the finest restaurant at the Palace.

Kings Tower
An ultimate venue for pre-dinner drinks overlooking Sun City Resort. 70 Metres high above The Palace ground, the Kings Tower can accommodate 20 people for cocktails or 2 people for a romantic dinner.

The Crocodile Lounge

Situated in the Lost City Clubhouse, has a panoramic view of the Lost City Golf Course and is open daily during summer from 06h00 until 19h00 and during winter from 07h00 until 19h00. A light lunch or snack can be enjoyed at the lounge from 11h00 until 15h00. A light breakfast menu is also available.

The Cascades

The Peninsula Restaurant

The Peninsula overlooks the gardens and water features. It offers international dishes from an extensive buffet, for a maximum of 180 diners, to a superb a la Cart menu. It is open everyday serving breakfast from 06h30 until 11h00 and dinner from 18h30 until 22h30. The resident pianist entertains Tuesdays to Sundays between 19h00 and 22h00.

Santorini Restaurant
Santorini specialises in mediterranean and greek cuisine. Situated on the ground level of the hotel and reached by crossing the pools, it is open everyday for lunch and dinner, seating for 250 diners. Bookings are essential.

Caffe Scalini
Caffe Scalini is nestled under the eves of the Entertainment Centre opposite the Cascades Porte Cochere. A continental cafe-style restaurant, seating 60 patrons, is open daily from 08h00 until 23h00.

Vistas Bar
The outdoor Vistas Bar, with a view of the hotel gardens and the Cascades Lake, is open from 09h00 and is an ideal location for sipping cocktails. Light lunches are served during the day and a pianist will entertain you in the reception every night (except Mondays) from 16h00 until 18h00.

The Peninsula Bar

The Peninsula Bar, situated adjacent to the Peninsula Restaurant, is an ideal venue to relax and enjoy pre-dinner drinks. The bar is operational on Friday and Saturday evenings from 18h00 until 23h00.

The Sun City Hotel

The Orchid
The Orchid specialises in a wide variety of authentic Asian food. The restaurant seats 130 and accommodate a small party of up to 10 people in the Tatami Room, which is separated from the main dining area by sliding screens. Orchid is open daily for dinner from 18h00 until 23h00. A Sushi bar is also available.

The Calabash
The Calabash can accommodate 150 diners and serves a traditional South African buffet. the restaurant offers excellent value for money and is open daily for dinner from 17h30 to 23h00

Sun Cafe
The Sun Cafe is a warm, intimate and stylist cafe serving wholesome breakfasts, salads and light meals throughout the day: Operating hours: Monday - Thursday 08h00-21h00, Friday 08h00 and the Cafe remains open until Sunday 21h00.

Setta Bello Restaurant

Setta Bello has created an array of beautifully prepared dishes to tantalize your taste buds. Situated in the Harlequins Casino, Setta Bello is open seven days a week from 18h00 to 23h00.

The Raj Restaurant

The Raj is a Halaal restaurant offering an experience of all flavors, spices and aromas of the finest traditional Indian Cuisine. Open daily for lunch from 11h00 to 15h00 and dinner from 18h00 to 22h00.

The Sun Terrace Restaurant

The Sun Terrace seats 530 people and is open daily for a scrumptious breakfast buffet served from 07h00 until 11h00 and a lunch buffet served from 12h30 until 15h00.

Harlequin's Bar
Harlequins Bar is in the heart of the Smoking Casino. The Cocktail bar is popular for pre-dinner drinks, or socialising before the main events of the evening.

Loerie & Kingfisher Bar

There are two quick service bars situated around the non-smoking Casino floor. Kingfisher Bar is a fully licensed beverage bar while Loerie Bar offers tea and coffee.

Poolside Bar
The informal Poolside Bar is open from 09h00 until 18h00 in summer and from 10h00 until 17h00 in winter. A light snack menu is served on weekends and public holidays from 11h00 until 16h00.

The Gary Player Country Club

The Gary Player Country Club lounge offers breathtaking views to all diners. Breakfast is served from 07h00 until 12h00, while a light lunch is served to both golfers and non-golfers from 12h00 until 15h00. The Gary Player bar is open from 07h00 until 19h00. Snacks are available to golfers at the Halfway House situated next to the 9th hole.

The Palm Terrace

The Palm Terrace ensures that all guests enjoy a truly memorable dining experience. Seating 450 dinners, The Palm Terrace is open for a buffet breakfast from 07h00 until 11h00 and 12h00 on weekends. For a buffet dinner with International themes, The Palm Terrace is open from 18h30 until 21h30. This restaurant is closed during winter, so please contact your concierge desk before making reservations.

My Grill My Bar
Situated within the Palm Terrace Restaurant, this restaurant serves a delectable A la Carte menu. The restaurant is open daily from 12h00 until 15h00 for lunch and from 18h00 until 22h30 for dinner on weekdays and from 18h00 until 23h00 on weekends.

The Cabanas Pool Deck

Should you wish to have something light to eat, a snack menu is available at the pool Deck from 10h00 until 17h30 and is an ideal place to enjoy a cocktail.

The Treasure Island Snack Bar

Located at Waterworld next to the lake operating hours: Summer: 10h30 - 18h30 daily. Winter: 10h00 - 17h30 daily.

The Vacation Club

4th Street Cafe

Situated outside the main Vacation Club reception, next to the pool. This relaxed restaurant has both indoors and outdoors seating, a tasty and well priced menu for the whole family. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with service throughout the day.

Sun Deck Caf

Situated near the Vacation Club Admin offices, Sun Deck Caf serves delectable meals and seductive cocktails. Operating hours: 07h00 until 21h00 from Sundays to Thursdays and 07h00 until 23h00 on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Entertainment Centre

Leonardos Pizza Workshop

Adjacent to the Hall of Treasures Conference Centre, it offers pizza and pasta in a family friendly environment. Leonardo's seats 140 diners and is open daily for lunch and dinner.

Squire's Grill
A steak house specialising in steaks and seafood. It is fully licensed and opens daily for lunch and dinner.

The Fishmonger
A well known South African fish restaurant offering the best in seafood, plus a Sushi bar, in a bright atmosphere, suitable for the whole family.

Caf Scallini Coffee Kiosk

Situated in the Welcome Centre and open 24 hours a day, enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate with a choice of sandwiches and muffins.

Fast Food Arcade

These are situated in the Food Court on the upper level of the Entertainment Centre. They include: Nandos, Milky Lane, Juicy Lucy, Anat, Gourmet Hotdogs, Wimpy, The Raj Take Away and Little Leonardo's.

Traders
This recently refurbished action bar, situated on the upper level of the Entertainment Centre, is where sports and class intertwine. Traders provides a relaxed atmosphere to socialise and enjoy your favourite drinks while catching the latest games on the big screens. Dress code: smart casual (regrettably no open shoes or vests are permitted). Smoking is permitted. Regrettably, no under 18s are allowed.
